As a frequent ussr player I have experienced GETTING DIRECTLY BOMBED with 1000lb bombs directly in cold war heavy and late war tanks at a much higher rate than other countries(and they don’t land on top of them).
Having said that I haven’t experienced this yet In 2026
THIS IS A BULLSHIT. I have all top tiers. Russians are OP from the front. If you play it good, only small chance to pene. It is not conspiracy. nope, my leopard’s DM33 can one shot it, from front, side, rear… it’s not hard… most RU tanks can be penned from the front… this is not including the most obvious spots (Drivers sight, LFP, diagnally from tracks, ect)

This is russian bias.
Because a lot of people only play a single tech tree and act irrationally about its superiority.
We even witness the inverse - there are a few people with a persecution complex saying “gaijin is picking on [their favourite nation].”
Quite notably, one observes this tendency far less with people who play all (or at least a representative majority) of the nations.
(Frankly, for air I’m of the opinion you should unlock all nations’ (at least, those that made unique WW2 relevant airframes) BR 4.0 primary fighter aircraft before commenting on mid to late war piston-powered fighters AND play said 4.0 primary fighter for about 10 hours each. I’d say up to BR 5.7 even but that takes much longer to unlock than 4.0 which can be done in a few hours in ARB or ASB. AAB prolly takes longer due to its whole up mandatory system but should still be reasonable.) (my go to list of nations is: US, UK, JAP, GER, ITA, USSR. )

Like how all 20mm’s have been royally screwed as per lately but only shvak and nd23’s remained usable, or how their airframes tank tons of lead but still fly normally. I had a stalled out la-7 above me puff out three 30mm shells from the do335.
I played most tech trees for aviation and I confirm that russian planes have been the most consistent (and the ones displaying the most amount of bullshittery)
like how I get one- tapped by a la-9’s 23mm’s that magically outpaced my US 20mils in a head on while the la-9 is a literal ghost to all of my shells laid perfectly within convergence, or how I can win dogfights against spitfires on the yak-15 or how the tu-2s can win a turn fight against an N1K2J.
For some odd reason, people are now spamming LA9s here and there, they do feel like a lot harder to deal with than they’ve ever been. Finding them at 5km of altitude above you and then they tank your shells like it’s nothing. Something is very suspicious.

I fully agree.
There are vehicles across most nations that also get very favourable treatment, like overperforming or underBR’d.
But nothing comes close to the consistency and amount of “bias” for the USSR nation in the 13-14 years I have been playing War Thunder.
I grinded every nation to top tier in air except Sweden and Italy, which are at early jet levels.
I also grinded 6 nations to very high ranks in ground (usa, germany, ussr, britain, france, china) altrough not all of them to 12.7 lineups, because I usually don’t care to go past 11.7. Then I also have japan and italy in medium ranks or more or less early cold war stuff.
I don’t have 1 min of naval playtime, so I don’t have a clue about that gamemode

MFW an LA-7 I gank takes four 30mm MK103 heavy explosive shells to it’s core but it one taps me with a single shvak round (his other gun is jammed)
I also played La-9 yesterday, it’s a monster compared to what it was. I indeed find myself at 5km of altitude when starting to face enemies.
However my aim is terrible nonetheless.

Video no.1: why shoot the ERA on the frontal side of a T80 when you could shoot the autoloader, crew compartment?

Video no.2: why did you shoot the fuel tank? If i shoot an abrams fuel tank (with 3BM46) it will soak it and have nearly no damage to the basket. No bias here.
Video no.3: its just a consistansy error, why complain about it? It happens to every tank in game.

2 500lb bombs, couldnt be dropped any better and YET!!! Walks away with a 1 damaged track and some small damaged items.
Now you tell me this game isnt rigged.! Pay attention to the "They capped everything, we are losing part.!

There are days I love this game but definitely days I was to rip a new one.!
A game this complex means minor chances coupd lead to catastrophic consequences. This is an issue but may not be able to be fixed without other things bugging
Its an issue alright! Its EITHER with the bombs (doubt it) or the KV220¬! I just dropped 2x 1000LB bombs next to another one and Barrel and Track!
That thing is BROKEN! BIASED! and that isnt being fixed.! and guess what - server replays broken so I can’t prove it now.! What a surprise.!
Thats all I can show.! WELL within total destruction zone and yet Russian player, on Russian server in a Russian tank - GO FIGURE!
