No I said it’s now a skill issue, then you bought up introduction at a ridiculously low BR, which happens a lot, especially with premiums, nobody rational thinks it should have stayed at 10.3.
That’s not how context works mate, the entire outrage about the BMPT has always been about how undertiered and powercreep it was and obviously your post implied that said outrage was somehow unwarranted, maybe be more clear if you don’t want to be misinterpreted.
It’s still under-tiered by the way, that thing should not be facing 10.3 in it’s current state and I know because I have used and abused the hell out of that thing.
What BR is the BMPT currently? 11.3. How do you possibly get the context that I was referring to it’s performance at a BR that it as not been at for a few months now? And as the OP did not mention the BR changes the survivability issues are a result of people learning how to kill it, same as how people learned to avoid the AIM-54s in air after a month or so of being slaughtered by them.
yes BR compression is a pain, that’s in no way unique to the BMPT, and yes, there are several issues still with the BMPT, but frankly the last several times I have bothered typing out carefully thought out and detailed opinions on BRs I just get people half read them and then start yelling at me about completely unrelated issues, so what’s the point?
Okay, the context is “people got over their cry fest”, the “cry fest” has been ongoing for a long time so obviously if you don’t specify, the implication is that every complaint is considered a “cry fest”, it’s really not that hard to be more specific especially when you use rage-baity terms like cry fest in combination to anything related to the BMPT. I will let you off on that though.
To be fair OP is an arcade player with not even 50 matches on the BMPT-72, I honestly don’t think he has any idea about a decrease of survivability. I don’t think survivability itself has decreased, it’s merely a function of now facing vehicles with actual armor 50% of the matches instead of 0%.
Obviously the BMPT is still insanely strong, it’s a mix of autocannon powercreep, insanely good armor, mobility and survivability. It should never be facing a 10.3 BR given how full that is of paper vehicles and I don’t think it’s fair to anyone complaining about it currently to call their opinions a “cry fest”.
bruh stop fighting
yeah but what you gonna do if its in a hull down posistion ? you cant kill it
idk
There are also points on the map with concrete blocks where you can genuinely just sit there and shoot. The hitboxes of the cannons are so tiny it’s hard to get both guns down in a single hit and the external ammo is still a hit or miss, sometimes it explodes, sometimes it just disappears. Even the carousel ammo can simply vanish.
no its not when you know where to shoot lmao.
why go for guns when you can go for ammo
I don’t think your video quite illustrated your point, the opposite actually. Like congratulations, you disabled the BMPT’s guns for less time that you are gonna take to repair your own damaged barrel.
This engagement should have of course resulted in the detonation of the BMPT’s ammuntion which didn’t happen because it’s still unrealistically considered “external”.
look normal too me.
ammo outside of the tank is a external ammo, simple to see no ? but if you think that there is suppose to be a chain detonation. you cant prove it unless you got docs.
This is like asking for a source when stating that 1+1=2, like alright mate, are you willing to ignite a 30mm ammunition belt that leads towards your house and bet on it? It’s 30 mm ammo propellant linked together and leading towards a massive storage of ammo, of course it’s gonna blow up if you ignite it.
The two poor dudes sitting inside the ring of ammo, why would anyone sign up for this lol
someone have to do the job
People learned where to aim.
Armor has not changed.
It was never invincible.
Also 12.3? lol Would be the worst 12.3 in the game. My M1A1 is better than it.
