What happend with Tunisia map? New opportunities?

Warning: this topic created based on my experience. Contain my point of view and spotted opportunities from concept. To spot my tank location and view area Check minimap.

The experiences:
Tunisia map removed no more and instead of that we got a new map which hard to say as a Tunisia. I want to share my experience about the new concept, ideas and why i dislike it. Let’s start.

Spawn camping R.A.T. spot. Line 1 you able to flank the enemy campers BUT this is a two bladed sword you can easily set up a spawn camping position and duck hunt the whole enemy team which disgusting.

Top left spawn fully opened and to leave it safety not possible. You need to pass on opened fields while no side front, side covers. Enemy easily take spawn camping spot.

Right side hill is basically lost his function because nobody use it.

Left bottom team also become spawn campers victims thanks to map provided opportunity:

Players who push and move forward hard to fall back thanks to cover objects shape and height so they can decide: spawn camp or try to move back and get killed.

Bridge: the river much bigger, wider and cover object smalls. If you decide to rush A point you enter a meat grinder.

Between Bridge and closest cover object the space too big and the river banks also opened.

Hills at E4-E5,D4-D5 height degressed and cover objects(stones much smaller. The opposite teams much easily to enter that positions and able to shot from every single location which become as a no mans land if you look the map concept)

Middle cap point Area around this points still too opened from every sidenot to talk the previous mentioned opened camping hills. From both side. Exists cover objects but they location too far from each other and thanks to terrain heights also a no mans land style place:

In old map we have some limited ways(kamikaze players rush in middle of hills) and good sniper/camping spots to defent attackers crush enemy attack and defent or spawn point. Now everything removed, bare low hills and huge opened fields.

This will not just not fit for panthers and tigers also not fit for cold war tanks old school TD also


From city side D5 easily to take that position and rush forward :

Old camping spot removed:

The blocker hill. This hill function to block you movement to mid point and force you to rush A points instead of this. If you refuse that you need to suffer with bad negative angle gun depression and get spotted in middle of dunes…

This dune function to do not stop and camp just rush to point A:


A4-B4 to leaving area also too opened with limited safe passage but again if you want to enter combat you need to got the top of the dunes

You might consider changing your stating text in red - whilst most of the forum mods are quite relaxed - writing in red is a “no-go” for non-mods…orange has a similar effect…

The first and only map that doesn’t deteriorate into a narrow tube, but is even improved because you can flank where it was never possible before, and someone comes along and starts complaining.

After all, this is also a point of view. To be honest i argue with you, the left side Bridge and the city part deteriorate into a narrow tube, if you not pass into middle point or move forward. Fallback when lost all comrades next to you? Not an option. Map middle still as a no mans land. Improved? I think everyone have an own oppinion about this.

“You can flank where it was never possible before…” Thats true… but as i thinks half true because they added the left corner flank opportunity but the removed some other. Something for something.

Flanks added opportinuties great. Really great the new added flanking opportunity to Seal clubbing enemy players on Point A … seal clubbing enemy players on they own spawn… from behind rocks provided cover while they try to leave spawn via opening area. What a great concept.
