Speed and Clean manoeuvrability should be equal or slightly higher than an F-5
radar is the one already used on AV8B+ and F4F ICE
with full 12 Missile load it’ll probably be much less manouverable than an F-5 and Also get a heavy speed penalry for obvious reasons
in Air you’ll reach the battlefield last, throw your AMRAAMs into whatever is left and then at worst Merge with some random Su or MiG that remains
in Ground the US version at least should be pretty much a combination of a Usable Air platform and a lot of ordenance of every type

I mean usually the nations that operated an airframe of comparable performance (Like Japan getting an earlier F-15J when the F-15 came our) get the aircraft on launch so I dont see why we wouldnt get the Finnish F-18

Only Germany is missing 13.7 aircraft. And 13.3 F4F ICE corresponds to a maximum of 13.0
Ik, I’m saying its not unusual for all nations that operated / have a subtree that operated an airframe to get it when its added, Sweden would get one, Germany would get one, America would get one, and Britain could get an Australian or Canadian one. Germany is in need of one but that doesnt mean that other nations wouldnt be getting it during the update. Japan was in need of an aircraft past 12.0 hence why they got the F-15J when it was added and so did the other operators of it being America and Israel. They won’t just launch a plane and deny it to the other countries who used it

Only Germany does not have a competitive 13.7 aircraft. All other countries have an F-18 competitor and they don’t need it that much.
Again as the other dude said, only japan needed the f15. America and Israel didn’t. It’s not all about who needs what it’s just about who can get what.

For developers, it is easier to work out an aircraft for 1 country in need and throw the rest of the forces, for example, into a large study of ground equipment or fleet, etc.
But it would literally be the same aircraft just with a different camoflauge

It’s the same plane with slightly different ordnances for each country. Not that hard for them to implement. And Germany doesn’t need it that much, the f4f ice is still a competitive plane, it’s better than the j11a, so they can wait for everyone to get their f18’s.
