So given the F-22s FM advantage and we have to assume at least minimal advantage from stealth. Then I dont see why Meteor vs D3s would be that unfair.

The current gameplay is just sit in notch and fire R-77-1s at enemies

we dont know how good aim260 is, the floor of the program might be those 190 kilomters, what do we know about meteor? we have the 100+ number from saab but everybody accepts that is likely a severe lowball, no real reason why the meteor can push further. even if the aim260 is better i would wager the meteor would still be more comparable to the aim260 than it is to aim120d3.
i understand that its annoying when you get these significant discrepancies in date, the meteor was operational 10+ years ago whilst aim260 is still not even in service, but thats war thunder, how good aim120d3 is we dont know, we know its a significant upgrade to aim120d, it has an upgraded motor which likely has access to more fuel, but the scale of the improvement is not known, gaijin will likely play it safe and make it a pretty marginal upgrade, we still have not seen any upgrades to seeker perfomance or optimization in flight paths(if applicable).
im sure captor e is not at all a major advantage…

To me 5th gen is such a huge milestone I think it will be a winter update just like the flanker eagle update and the mig 29 f16 update before it

its not? the ef2k aesa was literally added before the f15ex, despite the timeline and perfomance not making any sense, when f15ex will be added it will still be worse than ef2k aesa, and lets not forget that when new fox 2s are added asraam and iris t will be better than 9x block 2. as i said the meta shifts, ef2k cant be the best forever.

You literally had people advocating for that, saying that AESA Typhoon should come with the F-22.
Dont expect it to be, it already isnt, its fallen behind both the F-15C GE and Su-30SM2 in the current meta of MCM, but it also shouldnt be artificially nerfed or restricted heavily simply because its not US or USSR. Which is what it feels like at the moment.
