Right, so if each missile’s iteration is one year apart then why would other more advanced missiles come next year when that’s more likely the aim-120d-3?

If you also factor in the D3s likely being on the F22. Then that offsets the advantage.
Though US mains will probably claim that F22 with D3s Vs Typhoons with C5s is balanced
5th gen and modern fox 3s dont need to come together. especially cause things like f-22, f-35 and su57 only carry missiles currently ingame, until we know things like r-77m and aim260 are officially in service thats that, the only country currently carrying a missile comparable is china with the pl15 on the j20. hell we got the first picture of aim260 a few days ago, r-77m has seen some sparse use and we see occasional pictures here and there.

If D3 is not equal to meteor then meteor is not equal to 260. You can’t have it both ways
iirc D-3 is ~200 km max range so technically they’re equal, just matters how long it takes to get there for the AMRAAM :P
Yep, within the context of WT, with largely sub 50km shots. They are equal enough
that is 100% dependent on how usefull stealth is, cause if it isnt a factor then yeah its pretty balanced, f-22 has better flight perfomance, but it has a much worse radar and less missiles, it will be better, but i dont see how that is particularly unfair? the meta shifts that is how the game works, and i doubt the f-22 will be the best aircraft in the game when its added.

Well. If F-15 needs a missile advantage and missile quantity advantage to compete with the Typhoon having a better FM… Then surely the Typhoon needs a missile advantage and quantity advantage to compete with the F-22’s FM advantage.
Just feels like double standards.
Especially as I dont know if double rack Meteors would be possible either. So that could mean a 2+6 fit with Meteors, which if im not mistaken, isnt even a missile quantity advantage over the F-22
