The AH64E Funny island “china” uses shouldn’t have access to the DCIRM or the JAGM, along with all of 2 of the 64Es in game, only the Dutch and UK use the jagm and no one uses the DCIRM except the united states. Its one sided, in theory the AIM 120D could go to all of the nato aircraft but it doesn’t, in theory the all cas aircraft for top tier USA could carry GBU MK4s but only the EF can carry those in game. All of these “in theory” type of additions shouldn’t be in the game. It makes vehicles fictional and one sided which just causes division amongst the community.

I lied it was a replay bug, seems like for some reason planes in replays max out at 1800 kph tas on the indicator?
checked actual footage and it was actually mach 2.5
so yeah it’s unrealistic other than for f-15s
If AIM-260 has dual pulse, then it would reserve some of the energy/fuel to later stages of the flight at medium and long range scenarios sacrificing topspeed in initial stages of flight.
for long range shots metor is not going to be flying hypersonic
ramjets are horribly inefficient above ~M4 and even arguably above like 3.5

tbf it also depends on how high it lofts, if it goes up to 100k ft or more it probably will stay M5 for most of its flight
that’s why I’d bet r-37m would probably be best future missile, that thing is gonna have insane inertia if you loft it to above 15km alt, it’s gonna be maintaining its speed

Maybe but 260 hypersonic time is not even close to tthe meteor.
aim-174 is a better missile in a vaccum but afaik that thing is gonna only be launched at like mach 1 vs like mach 1.5+ on a su-35
so i’d expect r-37m to be better
I probably could have added the PL-17 to the second box but I see people arguing about the designation of whether or not it’s PL-17 or called something else so I just gave up.
