One thing I do find different is that you can kill airborne helos with DL. I managed to kill Z-10ME and Mi28NM several times with that trick.
It’s probably the GNSS doing its job cuz seeker never goes active during flight and even till hit, on the other hand, those helos seldom change their position.

The japanese MKM has a PESA radar thrust vectoring a better RWR and a MAWS/LWS system
It has a better missile aswell in the form of the RVV-SD Which is literally just an export R-77-1
Also gets access to the damocles pod which is a VERY good TGP when paired with the KH-38MT
Its basically a slightly better SU-30SM

While the venezuelian SU-30 has no thrust vectoring a vastly worse mechanical radar No MAWS/LWS and a older RWR no TGP or KH-38MT And its best AAM is the RVV-AE Just an export R-77 that is quite well behind the R-77-1
Like i almost wonder if you even have flown the japanese SU-30 it easily can compete at toptier and is sure as hell better than the F-15E that is stuck with Aim-120A/B and C-5 with a pretty ass mechanical radar after all ive flown both aircraft and definitely prefer the MKM

The Leopard 2AV is in the German tree because it is a German National Product. As the War Thunder Wiki states, it is an “experimental German main battle tank” and a direct evolution of the German Leopard 2K project. Krauss-Maffei didn’t build it as a private hobby; they built it using German state funding and German engineering IP. In War Thunder, a “nation” is just the label for that country’s defence industrial base. If “Krauss-Maffei building it” doesn’t count as Germany, then “Chrysler building the Abrams” doesn’t count as the US, and the whole tech tree system collapses.
My point about Lockheed and the Meteor is that testing is just a job. Lockheed acting as the “IT guy” to make a European missile (Meteor) talk to a US plane (F-35) doesn’t transfer the “Title Deed” of that missile’s design to the US government.
You can’t have it both ways:
If the Leopard 2AV belongs to Germany because they designed and own the IP (despite testing it in the US), then the Meteor remains European (despite being integrated by Lockheed).
If you truly believe “Testing = Ownership,” then the US tree should also have the Leclerc, Challenger 2, and every Soviet tank ever trialled at Aberdeen.
The 2AV is the literal bridge between the Leopard 1 and 2. Putting it in the US tree because it went on a “business trip” to Maryland in 1976 makes as much sense as putting a BMW in the US tree because it passed a California emissions test. One is a location of a trial, the other is the origin of the soul of the machine.
I dont think every plane they order is gonna end up in their TT(japan), since there would be no reason to play other air TT’s if they end up getting like every 5th gen and 4.5 gen
But still most of them would, especially Indonesian jets such as Rafale and SU-30/27 which would be added once they finally add Indonesian subtree. Jets like Gripen E has still lower chance though. (However if it is added then that completely destroys the point of grinding Swedish air tree IMO).
Them adding the rafale would also kinda cuck the french tree as they operate the f.4 standard which is almost what we have ingame leaving them with only the ordered F.5, while japan also has these other jets.
Reinforces my point that adding all of them would just drastically reduce the incentive to grind other TT’s

Dont get me wrong the SU-30MKM is good too but thats about the only top tier jet japan has right now that is competitive in the current meta Its an unfortunate result of japan having very few domestic aircraft
