What can save American top tier air?

dont tell me to keep up when you cant read what the underside of that F-35 says.

never got the integration, just like non-US F-35’s. same for the Su-27’s we have now ingame.

that was a balance thing, and anyways how is it fair that 2 countries F-35B’s get Meteor while the F-35’s creator and only country to carry Meteors on its F-35’s doesnt?

Never, huh? 🫠

Very much fair, you have your thing (AIM-260), UK/Italy has theirs (Meteor).

It’s really not that difficult.

(Also, do let me know who was actually flying the F-35 carrying the Meteor and what country they were from)

Apparently Ukraine did do that

The truth: for American mains to get good

It’s because Europe is developing both the Meteor MLU and the Comet (which I think is akin to aim-174)

I hope though that if the Comet/Meteor MLU ever comes to the game, Comet is just given to British Eurofighter/French Rafales since the other Eurofighter nations will still have the Meteor MLU as a long range option anyway, and Comet is just a Anglo-French design literally.

Yeah, afaik no Soviet MiG-29’s ever got AASM’s, only Ukrainian ones very recently

Or just fix the late model AIM-120’s

Both is good

I doubt it, but yeah

OK guys here is simple solution.

Keep Aim-260 exclusive for Us even if Australia buys it and integrate their Hornets.

That way no other nation can get their hands on this missile so Us will have something rather unique.

I mean I doubt superhornets would do good at the 5th gen tier anyway, they already suffer enough from their flaws where they are. AIM-260 really wouldn’t be a gift to them

….Those are Soviet MiG-29s.

😐

yeah sure

definitely nothing changed in the cockpits to let them use western weapons

its almost like they have had modifications since soviet times or something

“Modifications” XD

Are these modifications in the room with us? They can’t use newer weapons on the fly (except for HARM, which is mostly a “fire in general direction” weapon anyway) and have to preprogram them before flying.

It’s just their way to workaround compatibility on said airframes

wow, are you really telling me that their have been no modifications to the aircrafts avionics and electronics to integrate these weapons, despite having loads of sources for their being modifications?

and you know, making a special pylon to mount them…

that sounds like extra integration work

like actually, thats a far more absurd claim than saying F15 should get mica
at least for that the wiring is compatable so it would only be software changes

mig29 serbia got hypersonic weapons with no modification at all…

Considering these “modifications” were before the donation of said weapons? Yes.

They were literally jerry rigged on just good enough to hit targets.

I believe the word you’re looking for is adapter. There’s plenty of those in NATO, for uh, interoperability? Polish MiG-29s, anyone?

thats cause of the pylons its mounted on

ok so you are saying anything that can be used at the most basic level of functionality possible, with both software changes and an adapter should be added with its full capabilities?

ok so where is kh38 on an f15
like seriously that is how absurd that standard of integration is
