the micas big issue is an artificial rage limitation, as in it cannot exceed 50km traveled but i have not seen any solid info on the actual flight characteristics being wrong as it certainly has very good kinematics in game for med range. that NEZ is unrealistic even for the NG but i am gonna assume it was an exaggeration.

In TTAA the only unbalanced thing is the micah and gawdamn rafels. If I can kill then with 13.3 rvve’s I should be able to kill them with one of the 14.3 120’s. Everything else is a skill issue.
Dont worry, Meteor MLU and Comet will be in service in a few years

It’s gonna be a while for the Meteor if it’s as good as claimed. Not many other missiles that can be added to balance it.
It wouldnt be added to be balanced against missiles. It would be added to be balanced against aircraft. Meteor would give the 4.5s an edge over the 5th gens.
Yeah but not all late 4th gens will get Meteors. How should the F15 with nerfed AIM-120Ds be balanced against a Typhoon with Meteors?
battle rating or if more information becomes available, maybe AIM-260’s later on
The exact same way the F-15C GE with Aim-120Ds is supposedly balanced vs much weaker aircraft at or just below its BR that lack AESA and/or even C5s
the 14.3 EFT has everything on the C GE except for AIM-120D that are barely an upgrade, missile count, CM count and radar.
most 14.0 have C-5’s or better missiles that arent AMRAAMs, and the ones that dont have AESA still have a solid shot vs. an F-15C GE

So you are saying the F-15C GE. An aircraft that probably should have been 14.7 before getting Aim-120Ds… is weaker than 14.0 aircraft like the F-18s?

even with the extra missiles and better radar, the F-15C is easier to catch than the EFT, has worse performance for notching and being able to turn around, is slower, accelerates worse, has a far worse RWR, and has no MAW
they are perfectly fine counterparts, the F-15C is better in raw firepower but the EFT is better defensively and is more versatile

Still should be 14.7 not 14.3. And should have been there since the December update.

Both the Rafale and Su-30SM2 are almost certainly better, however the F-15C GE is probably the best 14.3 plane.

Its straight up the strongest 14.3 by a comfortable margin and if the J-15T is 14.7 worthy, then the F-15C GE should probably be 15.0

But to answer your question.
It has far greater missile count to the Rafale and EFT, the meta is shifting to MCM which is annoying as hell, but missile quantity holds a notable advantage. Aim-120Ds are actually quite solid when used correctly, and can be tricky to defend against if you arent actively defending against them. (GNSS specifically im talking about here).
The only areas the F-15C GE is weaker is radar performacne to the Su-30SM2 and EFT with no Gimball and raw dogfighting performance which can easily be mitigated if you dont try to dogfight. The F-15C GE would be perfectly competitive at 14.7 and should have been there since before the Aim-120D, its now gotten another notable buff and is still at 14.3.
F-15C GE is quite comfortably a 14.7 aircraft. Sure, I know shock horror, US aircraft not being handheld and blatantly OP like all the F-15s usually are. But that is a fact.
Based upon March stats, it is actually the second best performing aircraft in-game right now. beating out 2/3 AESA Typhoons, the Su-30SM2 and the Rafale. So… (and based upon the massive spike in player count, I think its pretty clear most people are realising its actually gotten kinda OP at 14.3)
