ain’t the F-15E heavier?
its way faster actually much better for BVR, fits the C-5 may better
it may have better engines (thrust wise) but it’s because the F-15E was made to be “Multi Role”, so in order to carry more fuel and bombs. (and then got heavier from that part)
i can understand it’s better for AA configurations though.
i just checked:
F-15E got PW-229 (so 210.6kN thrust AB total) but it’s baseweight is 15.33 tons
F-15C GE got PW-220 (so 172.6kN thrust AB total) but it’s baseweight is 13.59 tons
Well neither plane is gonna win a dogfight against the meta jets, But the F-15E can at least maintain a niche as a bvr monster like the Eurofighter unlike the F-15C that’s just kinda good at nothing, i honestly think if they had added an AESA F-15E with 12 missiles we would not be having this conversation rn

it’s due to TWR’s being different:
F-15E got 1.374 (Thrust / Base weight)
F-15C GE got 1.270 (Thrust / Base weight)
base weight is without fuel/weapons (which could be the quite the same on both aircrafts)
in comparison Su-30SM2 got 19.01tons base weight but 275.6kN AB thrust, so TWR is 1.44976
(TWR will drastically reduce on the Su-30SM2 with weapons as there is more heavy missiles)
Yah i know i wasnt saying the F-15E was slower just pointing out why i wanted an AESA F-15E instead of the C

That’s a massive over simplification
Make them turn more for the WVR and america would be saved.
Even the big maps are too small would need a map 2x-3x the size of the big ones we already have
Massively technically would be like adding awacs one person notches the other helps guide the the missile in witch works aim-120 and aim-54
Making the AIM-120 C5 correctly would do it…
5th Gen will just be F22vsF35 and that will bo so damn boring i cant see many liking the lack of airframe diversity

Of course it is, and that’s good enough for War Thunder. That’s why the F-117 is DoA for War Thunder, because its operating within detection ranges at ALL times. We need bigger maps.

They do have a few stealth aircraft
Hopefully we’ll also get prototype stuff like that one new turkish stealth fighter or whatever comes out of the new Israeli stealth program
