Buffing weapon systems is good however it’ll also mean a buff for other aircrafts that use them like the Eurofighter and such. What we need is better platforms. Maybe a later variant of the F-15E or the F-15EX?
With that being said, I fear that unless the US gets something uniquely good, it’ll eventually loose the appeal to many. the only saving grace the US has is the F22. The F35 will probably go to every country but China and Russia so unless the US gets a unique later variant of the F35, it’ll probably end up like the F-16 for every nation.
The F-15EX should be unique in itself but if the Israeli one gets the EPAWSS (which I believe wasn’t exported to Israel as israel is developing their own), then it won’t be.
Again this is not to say that US will be a bad TT in the future, but if the majority of nations will have the same vehicles as it but also other unique and viable top tier options, then I really don’t see the point of playing the US.
Lets just hope the F22 and F35 is good on release but i have my doubts. Something tells me, the stealth on these aircraft (probably even the J20) will be gimped and some genius (a fool) who has access to classified information will leak it.
Well US would have a unique F-35 which would be F-35C. Although all F-35C would be exactly the same. If gaijin decide to give the meteors then probably all F-35s would get them even the US one (most likely, as they are given weapon even if they are compatible. Eg Malaysian SU-30 got kh-38).
What i believe is when 5th gen are added, BVR would either start at closer range or just not exist so it would eventually turn into WVR where planes like F-35 would really struggle and the top dogs being SU-57 and F-22
(cannot say anything about J-20 or J-35) if F-22 gets it’s HMD
At WVR missile like AIM-9X should perform really well and if AIM 260 is added then even that would be better than meteor due to it having higher speed and thrust vectoring(i believe AIM 260 would also be better at longer range due to its superior speed, as range would not matter alot due to how small maps are). So if they don’t mess up AIM-260 (and add it ) or F-22 Us has might just dominate Air rb again
As for buffing AMRAAMS it would buff the eurofighter enough that it would also dominate just like rafale did a year ago though it would also help US fighters
the 35C just has bigger wings that can fold, and beefier gear
for J-20, strong radar and the best ARH but it can only carry 4 internal. no gun, and likely worse flight performance than the F-22 and Su-57.
the engines they pick for it do matter though, there are 4 they can choose from

JHMCS II. JHMCS II is the standard HMD for newly built planes. Scorpion is mainly a retrofit / cost-effective HMD for legacy aircraft (A-10, some F-16/F-15C units historically), not new-build frontline fighters. This is also why the F-22 received the Scorpion HMD, not the JHMCS II.
JHMCS II requires deeper avionics integration and more invasive cockpit changes.
Scorpion is pretty much a plug-in HMD/smart repeater while JHMCS II is fully fused with the mission computer and systems. It serves as a primary sensor cueing interface, not an overlay.
EPAWSS on the F-15EX is fully spherical with no deadzone. F-16V uses a more classical digital suites. Albeit very modern, it still has some very limited blindspots.
Other US planes with full 360° RWR coverage are the F-35 and F-22.

Yep, as far as I know, the F-16V didn’t add or move the RWR antennas around so the coverage should be similar to the F-16C.

It could serve as a good multirole aircraft that could dogfight carry AIM 9s and AIM 7s, launch AGM 65 Mavericks and drop 2000 pound bombs. The AIM-9Ls could also work well at close range [like in GRB] too

I don’t think Gaijin is interested in a strong US air force tree on Toptir. Because everything Gaijin has introduced for US air forces in the last year has been garbage. Unplayable aircraft with greatly inflated BR and weak performance characteristics.
The F-16EX has recently surfaced in leaks, some obscure prototype that will have an inflated BR and will add to the collection of useless aircraft. The G-16s don’t want to give the US powerful aircraft like the F-15EX, F-16V, or E. They also don’t want to give it new missiles.
