Correct but it’s a medium-ish weight jet with a small profile and with an absurd amount of thrust meaning the acceleration to 1.6 is likely to be pretty fast. I suspect it’s a rafale situation where it’s a structural limit in some regard more than it is a thrust limit.
Could be
probably cause of its wing shape
Definitely nothing to do with the wing
it might be its not a very swept wing its more optimized for low speed
look at the F/A-18 tons of thrust but super drag heavy
The F-18 has many more critical issues affecting its top speed and supersonic performance than the wing shape
cough canted pylons
cough poor area ruling
cough literally nonexistent thrust

Oh good lord
yeah a lot of them seem to be claiming that the new engines on su57 allow it to super cruise mach 2 which i doubt
Its posted by Lockheed martin according to the image. I have asked him for full document
probably just assuming as we have no clue if they actually do for all we know it could be propaganda
also speeds between the F35 models might vary a bit

Gaijin will go with that if any documents that looks official would state that
i have not seen one single document that says it just russian fanboys saying it
could be based on the al41 public info
Well that’s good to know. I wouldn’t like to see an SU-57 going over mach 2 without after burner coming after me
yeah maybe but i really doubt it the russians havent been know for telling the truth on technical stuff
just like anyone else tbh, it goes for all sides
true but its very common for red side countrys like north korea for example
North Korea wasn’t in Warsaw Pact lmao.
