F-22 uses AN/APG-77 and F-15C GE uses an/apg-63(v)3, How would they be exactly identical in terms of fucntion?
The 77 actually came first AFAIK, and the 63/3 has built in jamming for sead and such

But the point is, if the F-22 is going to so completely dominate the Typhoon and Co at the moment, why not buff them further, close the gap more?
I dont understand this attitude that aircraft like the F-22 must dominate.

All that needs to happen is the people playing these planes need to stop suffering from skill issue.
I’ve watched F-15As whack lobbies in sim bc the pilot wasn’t a moron.
The only think I can say is that American missiles are underperforming

It’s not dismissing the performance of other planes, rather simply calling it out as it is. The F-22 is a monster and a good pilot flying it will make the fight one sided for planes like the F-16, Rafale, etc. Does that make the Rafale a bad dogfighter? No, it doesn’t. But the fact of the matter is still there.
If an AV-8B wins a dogfight against a Rafale, that doesn’t mean the Harrier magically was a better plane, just that the Rafale pilot did something wrong.
The AV-8B is a better plane at low speed/ low altitude anyways lol it can out rate any plane below about 300 knots with VIFF and can match the instantaneous turn rates of modern jets albeit with a loss of speed. Couple that with the fact that the harrier actually has no AOA limits.
USMC pilots in the later stages (after the AV-8A) where not very good at ACM as they didnt practice that
But I still have videos of them collecting kills on F-16 and F-18 like there’s no tomorrow

Maybe, but if you point out that an aircraft like the F-35 is actually a terrible aircraft outside of extremely niche mission profiles you get immediately attacked
Or if you point out that the Harrier easily beat the F-5, F-15, F-16 and F-18, those pilots were having a bad day

AV-8B was a hypothetical example but here’s one from Italy. MB.339 with two Eurofighter kill mark during a single training:
That doesn’t mean the MB.339 is suddenly a better dogfighter than the Eurofighter, only that the EF pilot was either new, or having a bad day. As I said, this happens all the time in training and seriously cannot be used as strong empirical evidence. Same is true for the Rafale dogfight.
What’s a lot more interesting is the sea of interviews from pilots all saying the same thing. The F-22 is a nightmare to fight.
Then they can be at their own BR. 1.3 above everyone else then.
Or they can be artifiically nerfed to be better balanced vs the competition such as reducing the effectiveness of the stealth. or they can give a significant missile advantage to the Gen 4s.

BOL, TRDs, Britecloud, as well as things like EW. Would give the Typhoon what is called digital stealth. Typhoon might not be able to target an F-22, but an F-22 wouldnt be able to kill the Typhoon either

They may not like it but it still won’t be easy to kill a eft with a F-22 with guns.

You get attacked because the F-35 is NOT a terrible aircraft? It’s a BVR King, CAS monster, sensor fusion machine. All that with stealth in a package that isn’t that expensive.
If pilot X flying a superior plane loses to pilot Y flying an inferior plane. Then Pilot X is either less experienced or has a bad day. This has nothing to do about nationality, or bias, or whatever. That’s just the reality of the matter.
