Oh yeah it can carry smaller flares as well as seen by this image, basically doubling the cm count but smaller cms
48 each side so I would say 96 cms small or normal calibre

Thats pretty standard for most modern aircraft. Typhoon can do the same I think. So its down to Gaijin what they choose for it. Probably going to be 60 large. But would be good to get the option for what CM to carry. Like TERMA pods could be standard or large CMs and being an external pod, it would be trivial to just have a loadout option for both in the meantime

In fairness this is a matter of balance. If that sensor fusion were added before 5th gens it’d be game breaking (su27sm trying to comprehend the literal eye of sauron that is a fully capable aesafighter)

Yeah, but at the same time, there is an expectation the F-22 will:
- Be invisible to radars except at point blank range
- Be invisible to IRST except at point blank range
- Able to defeat any threat with absolute ease
- Fire Aim-120D3s and nothing will be able to do anything about it
- Fire Aim-9XB3s and nothing will be able to do anything about it
- Have HMD
- Have the best fixed AESA in game
- Will be able to win any and all gunfight with ease
all whilst be the exact same BR as the top Gen 4.5s as if that was balanced.

I have defiently seen one US main state it should get B3 so far. But Im gunna laugh so hard if they only get B1s
I meant to say that AIM-9X block 3 never entered service. It was canceled IIRC and the most modern AIM-9X is AIM-9X block II+

The expectation the F-22 is going to be able to 1v16 and be perfectly balanced is just totally unrealistic

Because we’re not even at a point where 4th gen sensor fusion is supposed to come into the game. Rafale and EFT weren’t even supposed to get realistically added until after the Su-35 and F-15EX.
I think they are referring to AIM-9X block II+ as block 3 in this document since block 3 is written inside brackets beside block II+

US mains spent ages saying they should be added after the F-15C MSIP II, then F-15E, then F-18E and now F-15EX?
If you delete the Typhoon and Rafale and I assume also the Gripen E. What does 50% of nations have that come even close to the F-15 or Su-30s?
Or does that not matter because they are only minor nations?
