What can save American top tier air?

But still, having the most powerful jammer in game would attract me towards it :D

Ah right, thank you, yes Britecloud are gunna be awesome, especially if the RAF goes through with the plans to upgrade/replace the FGR4’s current internal dispensers with a new blister containing lot more dispensers, 300 standard CMs or 150 large. Thats a lot of potential Briteclouds

Maybe next update with introduction of ARM

I would like if they limit to like 10 or 20 of them per aircraft, otherwise planes might become untouchable

J16D would be more powerfull

Yeah, probably not a bad idea, but still quite awesome to think about alongside the intergrated TRD and the BOL

What is TRD?

There are virtually no significant uses for it. At this time is also doing some very heavy lifting. It will be almost needed to be added before IIR functionality in missiles are added, which we can assume will be very soon.

From what all i know is that J-16D is a direct competitor to the growler. So it could be stronger, equal to it or weaker than it. Cannot comment about it now

J16D’s jammers probably will be modeled as well as any other Chinese systems that lack primary sources on their info….

Assuming that IIR is even modeled?

IRIS-T, and I assume Aim-9X and Python-5 already in game as SAMs just use existing IRCCM.

Im gunna doubt that that will change much when they come to aircraft

Unless im misisng something

The system’s range is between 50 and 80 kilometers, but could potentially reach up to 150 kilometers. Target identification is possible from distances exceeding 40 kilometers. However, weather conditions significantly impact the performance of infrared-based target search and tracking.

Where does it state that 150km is rear-aspect only?

That’s going to look so cool ngl

Yeah it will. Looking forward to it for the F3 especially, gunna be a big boost.

150km from frontal aspect is not possible to be realistic here

150km. sure, but 65km for pretty poor weather, I think 100km for good weather wouldnt be totally unreasonable. That aligns with reports for IRST picking up F-22s during previous redflag exercises at about 50km iirc.

That is likely beaten by the upgraded PIRATE or Litening V which are both much newer

“potentially” likely means best case scenario conditions, otherwise why not just say the system’s range is 150km?

I expect all ew pods to perform similarly

Thing is j16d has 6 total ew pods and a big chungus ass radar compared to the growler, which allows for a much stronger and a broader EW

But i still wont like these in game for now. Gaijin will likely implement noise jamming on these so the major thing they will do is prevent bvr. This will make the games more toxic and force more furbal wvr meta, where the rafale shines.

This would be good in teamwork, which is practically non existant in ARB

Because best conditions are rare. Its better to evaluate the conditions under real world conditions, which for the UK, is usually pretty cloudy. Flames’ report states that 65km was given in 3nm visibility
