What can save American top tier air?

I think statshark has been perticuarly and consistantly off with the euro-deltas more than most

That narrative doesn’t actually hold up.

But it’s better than nothing, do you actually have anything to back up your claims or other’s claims?

Don’t use those graphs, they are probably inaccurate

Unless you have proof showing that it’s inaccurate, I don’t see a reason to dismiss it.

it does to 12km

I did some comparisons with StatShark and real WT data and it was off by a considerable margin. I don’t recall the exact topic right now. But I think it was about the flanker FM.

Also, if you have any mig29, just compare the sustained turn rate you can achieve in-game to what statshark tells you it does. It’s off by 2deg/s or more across the board, which is a lot

Thanks, how did it compare to the Eurofighter in the same test?

iirc it was slightly worse than eft

In every scenario I’ve seen, it always loses to either EFT or F-15E. It was never better than both in any of the scenarios.

I mean, the high altitude acceleration it is better than both, by a lot at some points

Let’s say we conclude that statshark underestimates all flight models by 1G for a given speed, that wouldn’t change the conclusion of a lot of these charts when doing comparisons to see which one is better in certain scenarios. It wouldn’t change the conclusion of the chart I posted for example, where even if statshark underperforms or overperforms both FMs by the same amount, it still doesn’t change the overall conclusion derived from the chart which is that the Eurofighter doesn’t bleed more speed than the Rafale in the same turnrate.

The main factor that punishes the F-15E vs the rafale will be fuel weight, the rafale is more efficient and doesnt need as much relative fuel load as the F-15E for any given match

You’d have to take a very narrow definition, like 12,000m, Mach 1.5-Mach 2.0, in order to find an example where the Rafale performs best, but at that point it is cherrypicking when the original context said that the Rafale is the fastest jet (overall) compared to the F-15E and Eurofighter.

I showed earlier at 12km it preforms better past ~1.25

and at that altitude if you are bellow that you are pretty much falling out of the air

and its not even close once you are past that

Yes again, you had to find a very specific example, none of it is realistic in-game. No one is spawning in at 12km alt and mach 1.25+. The topic again is what is the fastest jet in the game at top tier, that goes to the F-15E/Eurofighter not the Rafale.

yes

people arent spawning there, they are climbing to that altitude going over 1.25, all three climb fastest ~1.5 or higher at that altitude

so all of them climb to that height (btw eft was climbing the slowest at around 1.5 or maybe a bit less)
then they level off (because you get massive diminishing returns climbing past around there) and rafale accelerates much faster than the other two, and reaches almost 2 by the time they are still 1.6-1.7 at best

None of what you posted demonstrates this with the climbing part included.

Speaking of realistic in-game examples, the rafale will be the faster usually just because of the worse energy retention punishing the F-15E for any small flight adjustments, and the extra fuel weight you need to bring to feed it for any meaningful flight time in afterburner.

The rafale needs very little fuel in comparison.

I mean it absolutely does faster than the F15e

because it reaches 12km faster, and is already 1.8 when it gets there
