What camos are all accessible in the Warbonds shop?

Hey y’all, apologies if this is the wrong place to ask this, but I wasn’t sure where else to put it. I just purchased one of the Warbonds Camo crates and got a user created camo, the Prototype #403 camo for the Ki-200 (props to whoever made that by the way. I only play the Japanese Air Tech Tree so getting a nifty skin for one of their few jets is awesome!).

The thing is, I only play on PS4 and I was under the impression that it was impossible for console players to get user created skins. Now that I’ve seen this though, I’m quite intrigued about all the skins I could possibly get. Does anyone know if there’s a full list online with all the camos I could get from those crates? I tried looking around but didn’t find one.

Any help with this would be appreciated, though not necessary. I’m just happy to learn that there might be a chance that I can get user created camos after having played for a couple of years thinking it was impossible!

You were quite lucky if you got a Japanese camo and that’s all you play . . lol, very lucky(or maybe not so much luck if Japan is all you have at that tier . . .lol). As far as I know, the skins are totally random and only specific to what vehicle type that you select and can be in any nation that you have vehicles for in the tier that you selected. Now if all you have in that tier is one nation, then you should get something for that nation, as you have no others they can give you . . . sabe’? So a player could kinda “cheese” the system by getting those specific camos each BP season, if limited to one purchase of that type, which most WB Shop items are . . . one time good deal.
So, if you had tier III tanks in 6 nations and selected a camo/skin in that tier for tanks, it could possibly be any tank of that tier for those 6 nations that you own.
Pretty sure that is how it works . . . good catch regardless

You can get all of the unlockable skins (kills / bombing tonnage / GE) from the WB boxes. You can find them under your profile and then cliking “Skins” tab.

Note that you can only get skins to vehicles you own. It is not enough that you have researched a vehicle which can get a skin: you must also buy it. You can use this feature to boost your odds on getting certain skins you want.

The aircraft skin boxes have a couple extra things which can drop from them alongside the plane skins listed under your profile. 1: They can also drop unlockable helicopter skins 2: They can drop old hidden user made skins 3: They can drop recent nation event skins 4: They just might be able to drop old event skins like ones the G.56? (never seen this happen though)

If you are more interested in the old hidden user made skins: they were a thing before marketplace was added. Back in the day you could buy them with GE. First batch of skins were added in patch 1.43 and the second group of skins in patch 1.49. They were remowed once Gaijin launced their marketplace.

Skins added in 1.43:

  • I-153 M-62: Number “16”. Non-standard field camouflage
  • B-24D: 512th Squadron desert camouflage
  • Ki-10-II: Red/White aerobatic camouflage
  • Ki-10-II: Aerobatic Yellow/Black camouflage
  • Ki-10-I: Red/White aerobatic camouflage
  • Ki-10-I: Aerobatic Yellow/Black camouflage
  • Ki-10-I C: Red/White aerobatic camouflage
  • Ki-10-IC: Aerobatic Yellow/Black camouflage
  • CL-13A Sabre Mk.6: JG 71 camouflage
  • Me 262 A-1a: III./JG 7 camouflage
  • P-38G: Invasion stripes camouflage
  • F6F-3: VF-84 Squadron
  • Ki-61-I hei: 244th Sentai camouflage
  • Ki-84 ko: 102nd Sentai camouflage
  • P-39N-0 Airacobra: “Pantie Bandit”
  • P-51D-30 Mustang: 78th FG, 44-64147 “Big Dick”
  • F8F-1B Bearcat: South Vietnam, 1964
  • HS 129 B-2: 8.(Pz)/SG 2 desert camouflage
  • HS 129 B-2: 10.(Pz)/SG 9 winter camouflage
  • HS 129 B-3: 8.(Pz)/SG 2 desert camouflage
  • HS 129 B-3: 10.(Pz)/SG 9 winter camouflage
  • Spitfire Mk Vb: 92nd Squadron RA

Skins added in 1.49:

  • A-20G-25 - “Skonk Works”, aircraft serial number 43-10213, 410th Bombardment Group, 647th Bombardment Squadron, May 1944
  • B-17G - “Man O War II", aircraft serial number 42-38083, 322nd Bombardment Squadron, 91st Bombardment Group, Summer 1944
  • P-51D-30 - “Dooleybird”, a Mustang IV - KM272, flown by F./Lt. A.S. Dooley, No. 19 Squadron, RAF, 1945
  • Ki-84 ko - Camouflage with insigna of 22nd Sentai, Philippines, Autumn 1944. Hypothetical jungle camouflage
  • Ki-200 - "Prototype #403, as it looked shortly after being captured by US Forces. Camouflage by John “Sick2day” Hermance.

MISC about the old skins:
-the old F6F-3 is now known as F6F-5 (skin remains the same)
-sadly no aerobatic camouflages for Ki-10-II C
-some of the skins could be unlocked via normal gameplay (getting kills) for a short amount of time. Was probably not intented feature
-the skins for HS 129 B-3 (identical with B2) were not really added in 1.43. They were added later and they remained unlockable via getting kills with the plane for a long time. I just decided to list them being added the same time as the identical skins on the other HS 129.
Old new about the player created aircraft skins

That was as magnificent of a reply as I could have hoped for. Thank you very much!

IMO they should change it so you can redeem the camo for whatever vehicle you want.
