lets not talk about that to be honest, gaijin have shown that they can actually artificially change those things as they like to balance the game…HEAT shouldnt ovrepressure you like that by barely shooting a track while other tanks with larger cannons cant…
I saw 8.7 not 9.0
Theres a difference
9.0 its WAY too much as a nerf, for both Turm and T58
OP
It is pretty broken, the average gameplay of the T58
You see a pixel of track showing?FREE KILL
For what its doing, its pretty strong vehicle as its current br
Should the BR be changed?No…
Should its HEAT rounds stop overpressuring like that?Yes
What? Original Poster
Cant read?Im replying for both
We are going to do “literally nothing.” It’s an expensive shop tank. Go do something productive, and stop complaining about something that’ll never change.
In fact we are gonna do nothing until gaijin thinks it’s sold enough. Then it will get nerfed or moved up and forgotten about.
It shouldn’t get nerfed or moved up. It’s perfectly fine.
At 8.3, there are powerful APFSDS tanks that could counter it.
its broken OP. i guess after they made enough money they will move it up
Several premiums got up-tierd this year…
Just move it up to 8.7 along with the Turm III.
The Object 140 already moved up to 8.7, and the T-55AM1 / AMD went to 9.0.
It’s needs to be removed completely from game. Gaijin again introducing completely broken premium vehicle to the game. This needs to be stopped, because it’s killing the game. Majority of BR’s are currently completely broken, because of premium vehicle spam. This is both in ground and air.
After facing it in hundreds of battles I can reliably destroy it by shooting the ammo stored on the left and right of the driver with consistent success. The max amount of ammo you can take is 21 shells and because of the super fast reload many players take the full load of ammo. Keep that in mind when facing them but I reiterate my post topic, it needs a br increase or a reload nerf.
So I test-drove the T58, and when using the HESH as that round is supposed to do (aiming at the front plate of the IT-1 first target), it did very little postpen damage and mostly was eaten by either the driver or the front plate fuel tank.
So, where exactly is the claim of its HESH being “overpowered” actually stemming from? If it’s the overpressure, frankly any big HE could do the same. The HESH effect itself is still god-awful like it is on every other HESH round ingame.
How many tanks at 8.3 runs APFSFDS on the whole BR bracket?

Lets remember this thing its still 8.0 with a good gun, good ammo and insane reload speed
Low profile too,i way too often get killed by this hiding in the most absurd and invisible spots
All it needs its to remove the insane overpressure system it has on its ammo, thats there for no reason…
HESH is strictly worse than HE in this game. Its still an 11kg HESH round on a 3s reload. However, compared to the other HESH rounds in the game it performs WAY better. The Centurion AVRE has 20kg shell and a 27s reload and far less effective even on a per-shot basis.
The T58 still sits below the chieftan mk3, which should automatically be a red flag. Better armor than the chieftan, better rounds, a third the fire rate, and only lacking a stab for all of that. The chieftan also struggles to pen any part of the T58 turret, with only the area below the gun being reliable.
M247? 20mm at 1km is going to have issues.
