What are the AI ships based off?

Like the landing ships, the fireboats, the patrol boats, the cargo ships, etc

Question, what’s the reasoning for most of these short questions with similar titles? Why not just make one big post with bullet points for the questions?

As for your question:

• landing ships are based off of the US standard LST of the second world war. (As seen on a few maps).

• I forget what represents the fireship (as seen on Malta) although their name is more of the concept of a vessel packed with explosives & set adrift or forcefully sailed into the enemy before detonating, examples the Town class (1940) Destroyer HMS Campbelltown I42 which was used against the drydocks of St. Nazaire in France & the Italian attack on HMS York 90 by MAS boats packed with explosives sent towards the stationary York in Suda Bay in Crete.

• Patrol boats are iirc PT-314 (as seen on Spain)

• And the Cargo ships in air battles are US built AKA (Hull classification) Attack, Cargo Ship, although I forget the make & model.

In more recent times (eg 2019-2026) they’ve been transferring from the old pre 2012 ship models into modern post 2018 ship models in all AF & GF modes, usually to player controlled standards as seen by PT-314 (if that’s it, going off vague memory of looking at them in battles).

For many of these vessels they may even be named the very vessel in battle as example on Kuban in the port you’ve got three Fletcher class USS Fletcher & one Baltimore class USS Baltimore while transiting down the coast is three Project 1 Leningrad & one Project 26 Kirov.
