The fact that it is not implemented just proves that having a “horrible taste” is not really a drawback :-)
You are referring to a list with 3 points - which are clearly “OR” and not “AND” conditions. I fully agree that Sweden (without Finnland) should not flood WW 2 lobbies with post WW 2 stuff, but unfortunately wt works this way.
I agree to a certain degree - but seeing China as a large market it is logical that they received a tree. Israel has at least some famous domestic products, so it looks comprehensible too.
I fully agree that it is extremely annoying to see lobbies robbed of historical relevance, but i acknowledge also the need of gaijin to create income.
Eh… Still disagree. For naval, they only have a single BB class that was obsolete before completion in 1909. If we expand to paper projects and cancelled ships, we get a variant of the littorio, and an extra dreadnought. Admittedly this is still a lot better then China and Israel, but they at least have a wealth of military vehicles in other trees to justify their existence. For ground and air, I really don’t see the appeal of a bunch of (effectively speaking) copy paste vehicles that don’t really have much of a difference from the base models. That’s not to say they have nothing, but I don’t feel its enough to warrant being their own TT. I feel it would be better to make them a subtree of Italy, as that way you don’t have to split resources for another minor TT.
Dont prove nothing, there are tons of vehicles waited by the community long time ago and gaijin dont added yer because his priority is more and more russians MBTs.
Spain have more WW2 tanks included indigenous desing for create a proper rank 1 and 2 meanwhile Israel is ingame with not rank 1 and 2 or like you said Sweden is mainly using postwar desing.
Imho you gave the answer almost correct: They earn money with top tier stuff and have no interest in adding post-war or non WW 2 - combat stuff if there is no significant demand for another top tier line-up with c+p vehicles.
This game has thousands of vehicles - and most of them are just hangar queens as they are not performing or are placed at entry ranks where nobody plays them…
Im always in the position that an Iberian subtree would be more than apt to be put into the Italian tree. Why Gaijin chose Hungary as the Italian subtree is bonkers to me to this day.
Spain doesn’t really have enough vehicles for a complete tree, as far as I know. However, it could make a great German subtree, after the Argentine one soon tm. Of course, Spain and Germany were close allies during WWII and Spain primarily operated German vehicles during that time, both in air and ground. Post-war, Spain used primarily American kit like half the world, but currently operate primarily the Leopard 2A4 and Leopard 2E. I wish Gaijin hadn’t skipped the 2E in favour of a nerfed 2A7. In terms of air, Germany and Spain haven’t shared equipment mainly because there aren’t a lot of German aircraft as successful in the export market as the Leopards. However, Spain is a primary partner on the Typhoon which Germany is one of the main developers of.
Id say that Iberia as a whole just have enough to form a complete subtree and thematically, would continue the theme of soft but mobile Italian vehicles in its TT. It even uses modern Italian armored vehicles (like the Centauro) to this day. It would feel like that theres not a whole lot but if you look at the old forums discussion on an independent Iberian tree, it has enough unique vehicles on it. So many prototypes and drawings though so youll have to sift through that as well but Id say they pretty much have enough.
Its just going to be funny thinking though that if it did happen, I can definitely see somebody suggest the M10 Booker to be on the Iberian subtree as well since its based on the GDLS ASCOD II Griffin AFV.
No they should not. Italy has already seen the addition of hungary, wich did not help the techtree. In fact by adding those vehicles, not only they lost every logic, since soviet vehicles in an all NATO techtree has no point; they also basically signed the give up document on adding italian actual domestic designs (go take a walk on the italian suggestions), they added hungary to make Hungarians happy and “helping italy”, wich did not help it at all, as all the domestic designs, that would make the techtree great, are now really likely gonna be ignored…
Same would be with spain…
Also if you do take a walk on the suggestion forum for italy keep in mind that there are a lot of vehicles even yet to be suggested…
