i’m fairly new to the high br but what a joke high br seriously every two three game a good part of my team leaves the game after one death.
Result? spawn camp after a few minutes of play i can understand one or two people ragequit it happens but more or less half of my team every two/three games is furiating.
Well higher tiers are filled with (what we call) wallet warriors. They basically buy a premium and go into games. When they die in their premium, they just leave since they don’t have a proper loadout.
Methinks one factor that plays a pretty big part in the ODL habit is that most players don’t bother keeping tab of how the battle is unfolding, so instead of going back in a match where they’ll be at a disadvantage by not having the guarantee that the “late” game positions are locked in, they’d rather launch a new one from a clean slate and hope that this time it works out.
There’s also the aversion to adaptation at play.
Small maps, fast gameplay. Why bother spawn again if the game is over after your death anyway? After one minute, the first people spawn camp, take out CAS or Helis and smack you either way. So they just leave and get into another battle where the above is just another minute of tank gameplay away.
This is who I imagine it anyways. I have watched a few streams of people playing 10.0+ on the same maps as me on 4.0. So I can imagine that is part pf the problem.
Well yeah, that’s what happens when everyone treats the game like its the finals of MLG. Literally the only time I have genuine fun is low tier when most of the people are just screwing around with meme tanks. Like yesterday the entire lobby was using the WW1 tanks in Seversk (Winter) and we were all saying, “for the king!” “Gott mitt uns!” “Over the top, lads!” and the likes. You go to top tier, and everyone is a sweaty loser that’s acting like it’s real life.
