Were sounds muffled this update?

I know the effects were changed. Not what I’m talking about.

Everything just seems less differentiated since the update. And somewhat muffled. I didn’t change any of my sound settings. But it definitely seems dampened, softer, and less differentiated now.

I’ve been mentioning that the 50s now sound like a kid trying to spit through their lips going ‘PPPFF PPPFFF PPFFFF’ compared to how they were before.

It sucks blows.

I said I don’t care about new effects.

The sound is MUFFLED. Regardless of what the new effects are. Even sounds that didn’t change are muffled.

I like the changes. tanks sound better and aircraft guns are muffled giving a better sense of speed, and sound more like you would expect in the cockpit

I like the new Tank firing Sounds but that Jet firing in the Video sounds just ridicilous lol

dont remember which plane it was but i was playing ground arcade and spawned in a bomber and its MG also just sounded like ass

I can’t even hear people behind me unless I turn my camera to look directly at them.

Also I can hear MG sounds from the enemy side at the start of the game.
Superhuman hearing in a 30 degree cone directly ahead of me, and no hearing outside of that.
Planes are basically silent until they’re right up on me.

Pretty normal bugs for War Thunder. Every single update comes with a FREE pack of bugs!

i noticed that all sounds now feel muted except for the 120mm guns which have a ridiculous amount of sound volume increase like its trying to make me deaf
