Concepts??

That specific model is the proposed “Liberty II” SHORAD system designed for the FAADS program. It uses a pair of 25mm cannons like the ADATS and 12 ready to fire missiles that would become later known as the VT-1 missiles used on Crotale NG.

Here is what it would look like with the radar system stowed.

Paper, it all only exist as ideas and with concept designs.

As a teenager I had a 1/35 scale Leo 2A4. Got bored witht he normal turret, so I scratchbuilt a turret with two GAU-8/A on it.

That would be fun in WT, eh?

Fake, this never existed, at least as a physical vehicle

US had a lot of short range air defense projects that never went anywhere, like the XM246/247/975 and more like the Bradley ADATs, M1 AGDS and it’s derivatives. Before finally settling on the high-tech solution of slapping FIM-92 Stingers on existing vehicles and calling it a day.
