I really don’t understand why they adding so called “weather system” in the game when they didn’t made all-weather fighting capability. Other then that, the so called “weather” in game is just the number and density of the cloud, is it useful? The answer is yes at low BR and with a huge preconditions, if they not at 500m above the ground. At higher BR or even top tier, the cloud is so bad that they not only blocking the missile traces but also blocking the terrain, so whether you hit the mountain during doing notching or you just get killed by enemies missile, anyway you died.
I’d say inverse is true.
At jet BRs, you got radar.
At props?
I don’t even have an artifiical horizon.
Nor a vertical speed indicator.
How am I supposed to even find the enemy to fight?
How am I supposed to use aircraft that thrive in vertical fights when the ceiling is at 1.5 km of altitude?
Oh
and “thin clouds” is equally awful.
Why?
It makes everything into a blinding haze.
The dark thunderclouds are a situation where WW2 operations wouldn’t even occur except for maybe specialized night fighters.
That why I said it got to have a precondition, if the cloud at 2500m to 3000m then it is more effective at lower BR then higher BR as it seperate high att and low att. But it not, even though they said they fix it but is still quite common to see a map that get fogged above 500m which almost unplayable for any BR (especially higher BR as you moving faster thus you got less time to react to a obstacle)
