Some time ago, you Gaijin gave us a brand new airfield, it is good looking, it holds better structures, more details, but one of those details is the following : Helipads!
How come you add this one detail but are still refusing to allow helicopters into Air Simulator battles?
Yes, I can understand that in Air RB, Helicopters will struggle, because everything is in Third Person view, you can easily spot and attack your prey, but in Simulator mode this is not the case, there are videos that tries to debunk the worries over what helicopter pilots will go through. Please keep in mind that I can see that some people are correct, there are really strong helicopters for Air SB (Mainly the Z-10 and Z-19 franchise), I don’t see the KA-50 or 52 being a problem, the Strela missiles have a narrow seeker and is difficult to use overall, the AGM’s also have a rather narrow window, plus you are also going to need to know beforehand that the plane is coming your way.
Point here is, I would like to grind my nations in the helicopter lines but can’t due to being forced into Ground RB to do so, I would like to actually complete my helicopters and have some fun, better yet, have an awesome time fighting planes and helicopters alike!
If anyone else agrees on this matter, feel free to share but keep in mind, Gaijin has seen this being talked about many many times now, I just refuse to give up on this dream!
Please Gaijin, for the love of your game! Allow us this at least, if people start complaining about how OP planes are for some ungodly reason, just ignore them, they are more or less jumping in blind, they have yet to acquire the skills to even attempt fighting planes yet even with the Alluettes :)
And for the capture zone, instead of having 1 capture zone, there could now be 2 zones, 1 for helicopters and 1 for planes. Helicopter zone will be the B zone and meant for collecting intelligence, while planes still dominate for the A zone. I think most people would be rather happy with this objective change, it will prevent helicopters from soft locking the main capture zone for planes too :)
I am also trying to look for a video where someone was testing how visible the helicopter is to the plane and how the plane is visible to the helicopter. Thing is, if you spot the plane first, you will have the upper hand but only for a moment, because that plane can hear you and turn around, but unlike the plane, you can actually hide… So it will be more of a cat vs mouse thing.
Just, Gaijin, please… We beg you!
