this could work, but i still see a problem
remember the recent twitch drop skin for the panther? it has a fictional tag, even though its definitely not on the same level as the bodypillows and those garish csgo-esque esport skins
see where im going with this? im not against fictional stuff, im against cartoonish crap that makes the game look like a korean mmo

If Gaijin added a ‘detailed filter’ about those individuals…
AFAIK, WOWS (Which is filled with Official colab weeb stuff) has an option to disable one while enabling others.

Oh, I just ignore all that if I want a historical skins. I suppose wt live could add a filter.
Ban every fictional stuff… I want explosive I want bombs I want to see people die not Anime stuff. This is WAR. Unless you bring some anime stuff to the military and paint your plane or tank like that then it offically Non fictional.

what i am suggesting, basically, is that the fictional stuff (decorations and skins) should be divided in two categories: thematically fitting (like a fictional panther skin) and garish/silly - like bodypillows

We already have the historical, semihistorical, and fictional tags, and Gaijin just needs to use them better.
That + and a detailed filter could work. Don’t forget decals

wt live has a blacklist system for tags, even though its not very good UX wise
