Your “solution” is cumbersome. Gaijin would never write any code “hide only pillows. hide only anime hide only [whatever].” etc.

Tbf, Having the individual selection for what you can see would be a nice QOL feature. Wonder if theres a suggestion for that yet?

Maybe they could bring the fictional/historical tags from decals to decorations, and give the fictional tag (allowing it to be hidden) to any decoration that is ahistorical. This would include body pillows, many other “fun” decorations, and hopefully bushes.
Unfortunately for you, Omaneko is real, and therefore historical.
