We need more body pillows

That was disproven long time ago, don’t use it as argument please

Given your track record? Lol if you told me the sky was blue I’d go outside and check.

Their reasoning was that it wouldn’t be a big difference and they “needed” a premium at that BR. Still a silly idea.

YUS! Same!

Soooo how do we get it?

Seen a tank with 4 of them on thier turret earlier, got bombed and every single one of them just popped off out front, leaving them still alive.

It looked awesome.

We need 8 slots.

We’re so back.

Yes, but the extra 2 slots can ONLY have bodypillows on them.

Focus on actual gameplay elements and issues first.
No one asked for, and no one needs, body pillows.

You do realize that Gaijin literally contracts the art for these out to an independent artist with literally zero influence on the gameplay and development of the game, right? Gaijin’s dev team don’t do the art assets for the game, those are usually outsourced or done by their in-house artists. Different skills and workers for different tasks, you don’t ask a programmer to work on textures and 3D models, and an artist doesn’t grapple with spaghetti code.

Plus, Gaijin could pay for hundreds of these and still have ample budget and time for further game dev. They’re not even that expensive to have made.

So you want artists who specializes and work on designing and creating art, decals etc…to work on gameplay elements and issues even though that is not their expertise or job application duties?

No.
They could be working on, say, missing cockpits, though…

That’s not their job, they are specialized artists for art work. Not modeling cockpits, they have different teams.

Cockpits are outsourced to independent contractors, Gaijin’s in-house artists work on map assets for the most part it seems.

So yeah, the guy who finds grass textures and dirt road textures definitely needs to start putting cockpits into the game, right?

It’s about priorities.

If you pay someone to paint your house, are you going to be fine if he spends his time with a fine brush painting flowers on your deck railing without having finished, you know, the house first?

But if they aren’t a painter, and are a carpenter, what then?

Then get your hands off the paint and on the saw!

I’m not saying these other jobs don’t need done, for sure, but you’d think the modelers would be more focused on making sure the actual vehicles are complete before “making the pillows extra cuddly.”

And yes, the same groups making the pillows are going to be involved in making the cockpits. After all, the pillows aren’t blank 2D decals, are they? The above comment about the pillows popping off with an explosion are proof enough of that.

If anything, should be asking for Gaijin to hire more devs that specializes on cockpits, gameplay elements and so on rather than wanting artist to join their job.

Yes, actually. That would be nice.

Though I can’t say I understand this distinction between modelers and artists. Are models not art?

why not have those artists making decals and art like squadron markings
