I replied to completely the wrong post sorry. dirtyann was the person i was talking about, i didnt pay attention to the names. I assumed you are the 2 year old player telling the 11 year player to go play cqb only or something.
Im newer than both you and dirtyann so i shall keep my mouth quite on this topic when in comes to experience.
2012 for closed access + 13 is 2025, my current account is 2013 cause I forgot my password to my OG account and gave up since I was only a year into the game.
Even if you challenged my claim of having an older account, my current is still 12 years old.
i dissagre we need larger maps for the higher BR’s not just for the range of the Vehicles but also for the mobility.
As it is right now most Vehicles especially lighter Vehicles cannot use their mobility because the maps are too resticted ( small )
Tunisia is a good step in the right direction.
However Gaijin needs to come up with Balanced designes for the maps.
So many have clear advantages depending on where you start.
“Map design is hard.” - Every developer ever.
One man’s great map is someone else’s terrible map.
Rust on CS.
Nuketown on COD.
Abandoned Factory on WT.
Himmelsdorf on WoT.
Each controversial in their respective games yet popular.
There are countless examples of imperfect maps being good enough.
Fair enough, i do still hold an opinion on some maps though.
For example, i have very fond memories of white rock fortress in the lower-ww2 tiers. I also remember volodomansk or however it was before it got removed, i hated it then and i hate it now. It did improve but the taste of it still lingers on the tongue.
New maps like attila i find perfectly fine im my thoughts, some tweaks here and there and it will be a good map. i enjoy fighting through B to cut off the A or C side, it feels like a map where you have to earn the flank and i really enjoy that. It is not flanking in the typical sense, since you are going straight through the middle, but most players go to C or A so it is an acceptable fight to get through b to the enemy side
That’s not always true. Sun City and Attica are both physically larger maps, but they have the same “size” as city maps, just everything is more spread out and filled with dead space.
Yeah, I agree on this totally… most frustrating maps to play are the really small ones… Or ones that are limited that u have to go facetank yourself and pray god your shot is either faster or has better rng and u wind and get first kill. Juist to be killed by his teammate 0.5seconds later on high br.
Its pretty frustrating to play uptier games when aronud 70-90% of games are either 0.7-1BR uptiers… i have decent&good line ups so yeah… nice to suffer from this shiat…
They destroyed sands of Sinai and took the very idea of what it was and binned it.Turned in to another 3 cap pool table.Only you defend it on here old chap.everybody else just sees it as a flat bland map now.
