Is there anyway to downgrade the graphic (especially the lightning and shading)? Those trash mechanics make the game look good by killing every balancing element in the game, how the f should we play the game if the sun like a bloody spotlight shooting beam from the enemy’s direction?
Did you lower the setting all the way down to ULQ?
It just reduce the particle on the air, but the spotlight sun problems still occur. Actually I quite curious what the devs thinking about, you can have the latest PC that making your game looks great but you can’t win the matches with this graphics? Is this some kind of wealth-hating ideology🤨
Mhhhm… It feels like someone is abusing the graphics settings.
It is not, if the setting is doable without using any thrid party application then is acceptable
It is… if I have a $5000 computer at home (maybe not in your case).
To play the game on ULQ or scaling specific parameters to 0.
Sadly, this is part of a larger trend.
Don’t play at ULQ, jesus. Tone down brightness or whatever. Remove grass from sights. But enjoy this games graphics. Don’t be some sweat looking for some tiny advantage to make up a lack of skill. Not that OP was asking how to play at ULQ, though. You can tone down radioactive suns without ULQ.
Just can’t, because gaijin decided to add Tyndall effect (fancy way to describe the particle and the light thingy) to the game and didn’t add an option to shut it, it in every qualities others than ULQ…
That’s the problems! You got expensive PC? Then you should get punish by get killed by a players that play in ULQ and can see you 1km away throught the grass, light, shade and every detail that don’t serve any role in game machanics but just to punish you.
No, I haven’t. My PC is 10 years old and I can play on almost maximum graphics settings. And that’s fine.
I absolutely argree with, what TheDudesRug said.
My point is using high quality didn’t bring you any advantage to the match, I would agree to him if the game isn’t this toxic, but the reality is everyone are trying their best to take the advantage as much as they can thanks to the “good” game design of Gaijin and BVVD. I really want to enjoy the graphics but I don’t really want to charge at the open field with 100m of sight thanks to the “great” shading against the enemy who have a good sight to me 1000m away
It’s totally common to abuse low graphics, your one of a million, dont mind ;)
If you have issues seeing details in shadows and bright light then my tip is to go to Options → PostFX settings → turn off Dynamic LUT → play around with the tone mapping to see if you can get brighter shaded parts and darker light parts of the screen. For me personally the “Reinhard” with the 'L’inverted white at 0.2 works quite well.
I have all my other graphics options turned to max (no grass in gunner sight though) and generally don’t have any issues seeing enemies in matches.
