Watching another player's replays

You used to be able to look up another player and watch their server replays. Is that still available or was it completely removed and you can only watch your own ?

yeah i noticed that too

my son and i play on a fairly regular basis and sometimes he has a game he wants me to see and sometimes i have a game i want him to see because we play sometimes at different times/days etc. it would be nice to be able to share those games and see how we are doing and compare ideas to improve our game play.

By chance are you accessing the replays from the game or are you searching up the website on the browser?

i’ve tried both, searching by player name.

I was able to find one of your games on the website

but the in game version came up with nothing

hmm maybe the issue then is on my end somehow… I know though he only has the steam attached account. Maybe that is the issue ?

are you also on steam?

my original account started on the warthunder website then I imported it into steam.

huh, could i have his username so i can check if i can see his games?

ah ok his name doesn’t work either, but i found his profile ID which is 101081022 and if you search up his ID and select ‘by ID’ it works.

i can find his account info but no replays… it’s frustrating. I used to be able to see 'em awhile ago but it suddenly stopped listing games he was in.

cool cool thank you… I was running out of ideas :)

no problem

You might try “Renaming” your Replay file in game, then go and find in in your WT folder(Replays).
You can then copy that file and send it to your son. He can load it to his Replay folder and then watch it in game. (I think . . .lol, we used to do this a LONG time ago)
Downside is that is YOUR replay the game gives you and only has the info associated with you and your game play.
The Server Replay(if you can access it properly) has the info for all players/the entire game.)

I am not sure all that still works that way anymore, but it is worth a try and might do what you want.

At any rate, kudos for doing all this with your son . . I think that is very cool
(I play Rocket League with my oldest son and his kids sometimes . . really cool since they live so far away . … gets harder as they are all growing up)
C’est la Vie

Good Luck
p.s. and I hope I am not totally wrong about all that . . . . . lol
