OT: actually there seems to be a issue with the binocular zoom - sometimes it worked - mostly not.
If you scrolled with mouse wheel to zoom in or out, it locks in a “variable zoom” ‘mode’ (I can it that because otherwise it’s hard to describe these things in programming context)
Which means pressing right mouse button, “big zoom” won’t work anymore.
This bug is making Relastic easier than Arcade…

Nope, just played two games with heavy cruisers where rounds land short even with NOTHING between me and the target.
Yeah it is really bad with IJN Ikoma. In game aim looks steady, but in reply target lock is breaking every few seconds in player view and as soon as lock breaks the guns quickly change the aim point to what I guess is a “neutral” position.
I came back to playing naval after a while and the The firing system is broken. The shells pass through the ships, others pass very high and others remain very shorts.
In smaller caliber boats it is perceived less because reloading is fast, but in American 305 and 356 it is unplayable (I haven’t tried the German ones yet)
Noticed lots of overpenetrations too. Also, shell diving seems to have been nerfed.
But moreover, is the range penetration nerf for ships. Makes early battleships have extreme suffering as they already have.

They should revert it or change to smaller maps. In arcade you spawn at 14km something, only having realistic chance to hot something at 10km, and consistent shots at 8km under. very frustrating for 6.0 battleships
I have consistent hits and kills at 14+ km, you just don’t figured out new aiming at long distances yet.
I mean, some shots there and then. But the ships I am playing is WW1 battleships that’s got hit hard by the nerf
As far as i remember they never been accurate.
Accuracy is okay, especially after the buff. What I am saying is the WW1 battleships have very poor penetration especially at range
Exact same problem i was having. Seems to have gotten better, but last night I had the shot way over range, even though my cursor was on the ship.
I just experienced that this week. Aiming seems better, but I get killed, respawn in a new or the same ship and suddenly snipper mode does not do anything and zoom is minimized. Stays like that for the rest of the game, then works again in a new match. WTF?
Did they break the NAB targeting aim on aircraft again? I’ve noticed that shots consistently fall short when aiming at the aircraft’s center of mass. Right now, the only reliable way to land hits seems to be aiming directly at the lead indicator, and only when the aircraft is within about 2.5 km.
Quite a nuisance trying to get kills on aircraft for tasks where the AI bots have no problem effortlessly sniping them away from 3-5 km, effectively stealing what could’ve been my air kills
I’ve been nailed at 6 km in plane a few days - the killing ship was not even visible
Each AI bots is a No-flying zone for 5km and above,so many times i was hurt after spawn in 30s
