Warthuner Events are unfriendly for students

I want to talk about the Events placemt in the Year. For many People, there are studeying and dont have much time to play Warthunder and dont have time to grind teh event. That how i feel, becouse School started and i need to lern, but i want the EFV but i dont have the Time fot it. SO please Gajin, please make teh event more friendly for students.
Can we make Gajin actaully fix this problem? Can we make them to do the old events?

The current format is miles better for working people than the previous one.

All they need to do is tweak the structure of the events.

  1. Change each token from being every 2 days to being every 3 days.
  2. have tokens overlap by 1 day, meaning that you could grind out 2 tokens (back to back not at the same time) on the same day, meaning instead of needing a game session every other day, its 1 every 5 days.
    or
dont have tokens expire (or have expiration overlap with the next token), so youd still need to grind them on at a time, but you can catch up (but that would loose Gaijin too much money and its a money making scheme at the moment)
  3. Reduce the score requirements or increase score gains
  4. Add a bonus token on the weakend during the event.

Would make events a LOT more player friendly.

For me it was the old format that such perfect timing. Operation Winter and Summer especially.

yeah i know, but i 1) want to sell it 2) im finally good enough to grind such events. And can we vote that any winter events start from 24+ dezember?

Depends on the kind of luck i have.
Today, i got about 50% of the star in the first 40 min.

yeah but u have time, i not. i failed my sport repetion test and spanish vocabulary for this evetns

What they should do is maintain the current: Ground → Air → Naval cycling but going back to only doing operation winter and summer so they fall when people generally have time off.

It’d also just be nice with a few more spare marks to let people catch up

Not only for students. For me play during the weekend is almost impossible due family and friends.
Something like continues grind like selling coupon task instead of two days taks will be much better but…

At the rate i was having today, it would of been under 2 hour total.

Your problem. try having actual priorities.

No sleeping will work for students.

Idk,i work12h a day, know people doing the same, yet dont have problem grinding event, takes like 2h a day to finish. Especially ground, thats the fastest one to complete. Or you can go on part time job as student and buy it on market, as everything nowadays costs about 15-25 GJN on market after event.

Daily log-ins and time-limited things are not just unfriendly to students, they’re anti-consumer.

Gaijin should look to Jagex and OSRS for inspiration. No time gating, no FOMO.

The way I’d structure events would be to have 3 vehicles a month, one ground/naval/aircraft; And you could choose to allocate either vehicle research earned alongside normal match rewards (like the variable research points you use to GE vehicles) or point progress into a total (to earn the vehicle as a tradeable coupon), with rewards along the way like the current BP/Events

This removes a big chunk of the awful FOMO aspect and places the grind more in the hands of players, while still being incentivised through the coupon and rewards.

I’d also have these be more thematic, maybe matching up with national holidays or pages of history events (eg finnish independence day, with a finnish tank or plane as the monthly event reward) and some generally more interesting rewards besides the vehicle themselves (more profile images/customisation items)
