WarThunder's bad damage model

Hey.
After playing for about 2k hours + i came across the very bad damage model system. Its nice to have the feature to simulator the shot after a round but it wont make me happier or brings anything but frustration. Weak spots on tanks are not working like this and its more luck based wherever the game gives you the kill or not. Also ghost-shells are a massive problem for e.x shooting trough a tank while getting killed by the same tank is really weird. I have over 30 clips + of those bugs in war thunder but sadly cant upload them due to your wonderful limit

Weak spots on tanks are not working like this

Certain weakspots like viewports don’t act as weakspots in this game, and can sometimes actually be harder to shoot due to the volumetric update (if you have two overlapping armour plates and your shell touches both of them, it adds the value of both; to explain, if you have a 50mm armour plate just above another 50mm armour plate, and your shell hits the edge where they meet, the game counts it as 100mm). This would be my first guess for what’s messing you up, outside of the ghost shells.
