To lose.
you are placed on teams that are the most feeble and makes every single tactical error possible.
You will endure a punishing horrible winning percentage and be told it is your lack of skill ( you make up 6.25% of the team )
You will be told " accept all of your crushing defeats and have fun "
the thing is the over arching requirement is for you to win because you are controlled by your daily task
breaking the loss record out of the blue of 13 losses and the next day 2 x 10 losses in a row in a single day is absurd
“here is your participation medal”
Oh. I thought this was gonna be some conspiracy theory that war thunder is training you for the military. Consider me wrong.
How can you say training for the military?
can you not see that there is no way you would ever entrust your life to these…what ever they are.
From the title, I thought that it would be that.
Your mind is being trained.
Pay attention to how the “team” functions
lol ok.
It’s just a coincidence that fantastic players end up with excellent winrates, whereas poor players end up with poor winrates.
Pure random chance, right?
“Sounds like a skill issue”
🤣
If you want to win matches reliably without being dependent on your team, stop playing Ground and play Air RB. Skill won’t save you in ground. More kills = more CAS coming for you soon.
If you get good at Air RB you’ll be wishing your team would die more so you can have a challenge.
My advice:
Stop caring about the daily tasks or battlepass or all that junk.
It’s anti-fun. It forces you to play game modes and vehicles and BRs you are, at best, not in the mood for that day and at worst wouldn’t ever enjoy.
It makes you do stupid suicidal things to accomplish in a reasonable time-frame.
It makes you a detriment to your team even.
It also encourages ODLing when the tasks are capped/battle.
Just play for the sake of playing, or maybe a vehicle grind.
Eversince I decided not to care for battlepass, the amount of enjoyment I gained from the game has at least tripled.
Same lmao.
I had in mind that one episode from… some show, or YouTube short movie or something- where a company has some people “test video games”, but they are actually operating drones in a real war xD
I think that’s been done a few times actually, so I don’t know which one specifically I may be remembering now.
Ever watched/read Ender’s Game?
"I've read it in elementary school level memory of the plot"
Story is that humanity is at war with bugs but due to rigidity, conventionality and the alienness of the enemy is making humanity lose.
Humanity thus begins training children to be essentially sociopaths with stunted empathy and makes them compete in virtual reality fleet engagements as training for when they’re adults.
They were actually operating remote fleets and genociding the bugs.
Are you sure it’s really not due to your lack of skill and situational awareness?
If you think so lowly of your team, adapt to counter their mistakes like lost flanks and whatnot. Pay more attention to how the battle unfolds and you’ll be able to take advantage of the situation more often than you think.
You are being trained to stop caring, you realize you efforts mean nothing and you cannot change the outcome, you stop trying to win, you don’t care if you lose, you just play solely for your own gain and grind away.
Ah, put that way.
It’s Hungarianification
gas lighting
Well then explain the vast difference in win rates according to your theory.
