Warbonds for “The Last Legionnaire” Battle Pass!

this is so stupid

Read those numbers.
You can damage and remove the canvas and under there it’s the exact same turret front.

No you’re arguing that they didn’t copy the turret, when there is plenty of proof they have.

You said that the turret front isn’t the same, when in fact it is, it is simply covered by a canvas that can be removed.

MANY changes… such as: adding a box model instead of tools, adding a canvas (makes it a completely new and original vehicle!), and… uh… painting it GREEN!
CLEARLY an ORIGINAL vehicle!

It’s funny how the most liked posts in this topic are troll posts.

Now this is just making up numbers

“Entirely new turret model” is determined by the changes done to the turret themselves, you’re counting the fact that they’ve made changes to the turret model twice. Imagine saying “this car has a new light, and it is also an entirely new car because it has the new light, so there are two changes done to this car compared to previous models”. So that statement is throw out. Not to mention the VAST MAJORITY OF THE TURRET is identical to the US M46s.

“No turret fence” makes no sense because both the US M46s already have models without the turret fence. In fact the premium one gets no turret fence at all.

So out of 4 here, only 2 are valid.

And plus these 2… that makes 4.

Where’s the 6 changes?

Exactly my point. :)

Didn’t know there is people that play war thunder without object permanence

So if i put a bedsheet over my chair i now have a completely new chair?

I’m a 3D modeler at heart. i have 3 courses of 3D CAD all with full marks. For my final exam for CAD i designed and modeled a slightly simpler animated version of a 2 stroke engine.

My definition above is academical and legal oriented, the percentages might not be accurate but it’s not a “hipster” definition.

Honestly, at this point i personally see this the other way around. You do not need to engage with them at all, it only creates confrontation where there needs to be none. Even if we assume they do it solely for the purpose of provocation then it’s even worse if you answer because then they have won, they have gotten what they want, a reaction.
But in this instance you are in a clear minority and are in my opinion the one initially propagating the conflict.

Regarding the turret its so obvious that they copied the 3D model that there even remains a bug of a shadow caused by an object that is not even there on the new vehicle. So that bug’s origin MUST have been from the original object on the vehicle they copied and used as a base. Had they started a new model from scratch then there would be no possibility for that shadow to be there as the object that causes it isn’t there.

Again, does putting a sheet over my chair make it a completely different chair? or does it just look different but is still the same chair underneath?

come to think of it, how much effort does it take to make this sort of copy paste slop?
turret face canvas is like 3 clicks in blender, a hull box is just a box model they could have had lying around… maybe someone could check if that is true (the box i mean)

If you add arms, removed the head rest, added padding… that’s a new chair. You used reclaimed components, but that’s a different chair.

It’s the ship… riddle? metaphor? Replace all the parts of a ship, is it still the same ship?

Nice.
Legal arguments I try to avoid cause it changes from country to country and is potentially political.

I mean fair.
Sometimes my love of others that innocently like vehicles gets to me; especially when I don’t have the time to think every angle.

Its the same tank. An m46 copy paste

It will be the best if I can get my hands on LVT-4/40 ❤️

this chair is the exact same though, it has the same components, just a canvas over it (made in blender by an intern for 5 bucks)
