I’m not happy with how the Trophy/Chest’s work.
It’s a big form of gambling, The vehicles being rare that’s fine, my issue is with how they handled the user skins. I spent $30 trying to get a skin for STRV 122B+ and the CV 90120. Even after opening 8 chests and using the coupons to get the random skin it’s not a guaranteed pick of what I want. I don’t like that, I’m very sure many other console players don’t like that as well.
A nice change to this would be, being able to exchange whichever skin you get from the Trophy/Chest’s for the skin you want. This would make it worth actually spending money on these because as of right now they are definitely not worth it.

Hmmm perhaps if there were some kind of market where you could buy and sell these skins to other players, perhaps we should call it the warthunder bazaar, wait…
Consoles unfortunately not having access to the market isnt gaijins fault (for once), but a shame you dont get a better alternative to features that pc gets
Though i feel you have bigger problems than not having access to the gaijin market

I’m going to hold your hand when I say this… You can in fact but the exact skins you want without buying a chest. And usually for less than $3 USD.
Usually less than a dollar for the current box after prices settle. Only expensive ones are very old.

That’s really the bigger problem for console players, even if it is Microsoft’s ToS not allowing some of the user generated content…Gaijin didn’t have to make the only way to get different skins lootboxes.

I’m not going to break TOS and tell you not to buy things, but on the other hand, no one is forcing you to partake.
Also, they do show you right there on the tooltip how odds decrease with the better quality of items or the more desirable/beneficial et cetera. They ARE transparent about it.

They should at least make it so that if you get a skin that you don’t want or for a vehicle that you do not have, you can trade in the unwanted user skins for one that you want.
That is very true, Gaijin should at least re design that system to be more friendly for console players so they don’t have to gamble.

Why not just make them more available for console players? There’s no harm in that, they will still have their gambling aspect for the trophy Chests and all it would do is make the user skins more available for the console players.

That’s crazy because, on PC you can literally download the skin files that you want to use and put them the Userskin folder after you create or un-zip the skin files.

I was ORIGINALLY talking about how consoles have to pay for a chance to get a user skins they want while PC players can get for free for any vehicle they want by just dragging and dropping a file. Consoles DO NOT even get to pick the user skins they want from the Trophies, not even after opening the 4 need to trade in the coupons.
