Focusing on improving maps should be one of the highest priority for Gajin in my opinion. There is no room for AA to move. Maps are 90% close quarters and only few paths/corridors to go face on each other. Maps are constantly getting more simplistic and smaller. IF I wanna play COD i go play it. I dont wanna roleplay COD with tanks.

Ai realistic battlemode sure needs attention specially on higher tiers. Also some maps are way too small for that missilefest there is… there isnt even time to climb on some maps, u get instant Amraam in your face before desired altitude. Lot of things should be done to improve “air realistic”.

Certain tanks or premiums are so strong that they break game. They need to be adressed. Some of them Gajin sure knows to exist.

Hi everyone.
I love War Thunder. I’ve invested a lot of time and money into this game. I keep all political opinions out of the game. However, I’m interested in tanks and aircraft, and in my opinion, there’s no comparable game out there. I think the core gameplay is fine, too. Spawn camping is annoying, sure. But otherwise, I’m okay with it.
But now, for the first time, I’ve reached the point where I’m considering giving up War Thunder completely—and not coming back.
By now, it hardly matters which BR you play. There’s always at least one Russian vehicle that can dominate the match and decisively influence the outcome.
In low-tier battles, you have all those Yak-9s that can simply destroy your heavy tank with a single shot.
In the mid-tier, you’ve got the Yak-130, which just precision-bombs you out of existence even while you’re tearing across the map at full speed. And you don’t even see it coming…
Then there’s the BMPT in the high-tier. Sure, it’s finally been nerfed a bit… but come on…
It wouldn’t be so bad if it were harder to spawn in these vehicles, or if only a limited number of players could use them at once. Just yesterday, in a 9.7 match, there were six Yak-130 players active simultaneously… and you can imagine how that match turned out…
…even when I play as Russia myself, I end up facing… Russia. Same problem.
The whole fun of the game has somehow completely vanished over the last year.
Please, does anyone have any idea how to start enjoying the game again?

Yak-9K is 5.3 i think? now. Yeah it have nuke APHE now, but it still flies mid. Besides even better planes exist on lower BRs,like He 219 or Me 410 B6/R3.
Yak-130 with KABs where Walleyes have triple the range on A-4E while also having flares and RWR and being on same BR and ig for years,so nothing new here.
And BMPT that explodes whenever something touches the rocket or hits LFP or track.
It’s all well and good that you’re laying out your perspective… but that doesn’t match my experiences in the game.
So, what do you want to tell me now?

Last year? It has been a thing since 2015. I started in 2017; even I saw the writing. Russia tree->made more powerful than every other nation. When people talk about Russian bias. The argument in return is that there is none.
Yet we know a whole decade of players know this.
But that’s going slightly off topic, albeit not really cause a lot of problems correlate to problems this game has.
That A-4E has been in the game for years and it have better armament and actual way to protect itself with CMs and RWR.
Also RU suffers at top tier rn.

I’m not saying I always lose against Russia. Just that certain vehicles spoil the fun for me. And I’m asking for solutions—maybe a game mode I’m not really familiar with, but one that offers something new.
You seem to just want to air your own opinion here. Why?

I started as Russian main, then usa but now grinding Germany. You are right about each nation having good/bad vehicles but Russia has more good than bad then everyone else

You made it to IS-4. That is far from realizing how BVM or 90M are dogshit tanks compared to Abramses.
By the way, my best vehicle is the PT-76-57… another one of those vehicles that was simply way too good… for too long.

I never claimed that bvm or 90m is “dogshit” compared to abrams, however I do have the premium t-80s and its better than Abrams only because of ARMOR AND LOWPROFILE.

80UD? That at 10.3 was a bit criminal with that UFP yeah,but then it still have the same weakspots as every other T-series,it flies into space with single LFP/driver port shot and it cannot reverse or load faster. So Abrams outreloads it,and have better mobility,which you can just use for your advantage.
