That is an extreme stance to take. You are welcome to take it but I think you are in the smallest minority there, chief. All of my points still stand. Have a good day/night.
the german “Dora” (FW190-D13) package seems to be vanished from the shop - besides it was part of the birthday sale! Maybe GJ discoverd that giving 15 days of premium was too much? Were they afraid to sell too much of this package? From my pov its not okay to remove a package from a sale before the sale itself ended…
edit: the package is still available - but only if accessed from in-game!
Having a minority position or view on things says nothing about the quality of those views. Some time ago the majority of people were sure that the earth is flat - or that getting vaccine shots is a very smart idea and there are no side effects…
You don’t have top BRs for 5+ tech tree at this time.
As for me, I didn’t no-life this game, I just played with a premium account for 5 years.
I don’t think highly of myself, but I put myself hand-in-hand with others that have attained these.
@MokaMoki
It’s similar to trusting a surgeon over a medic.
Not extreme to me.
seems to be a issue in display/sort order - and depends on the browser… in edge the shop looks ok, Dora is present… So the package is still there!! the bug happens (at me) in firefox…
Okay?
So, wich browser do i have to install, to see the actual good stuff displayed & discounted?
No, you’re completely full of yourself bro. People don’t need to play to top tier in every tree in the game to know how the game works. What’s funny is, in almost every nation, I still have more spaded vehicles than you. Think that means I’ve got more experience playing more vehicles.
Important point about your surgeon/medic analogy, a medic doesn’t become a surgeon after giving out 30,000 ibuprofen, they become a surgeon by going to school for many years. Based on your opinions, all I’ve seen is that you’re a medic who’s given out a lot of ibuprofen. Also, see above on how you’re full of yourself, comparing yourself to a surgeon lmao.
I’m not comparing myself to anything, I’m comparing hundreds to thousands of players to a more knowledgeable position while you accuse everyone that has more knowledge than you of being “full of themselves” which is by definition being full of yourself when you think thousands of people that have more experience than you are less knowledgeable than you.
Probably my favourite part from this anniversary. “We’ve read your comments regarding [the] anniversary sale”, and we don’t care :)
Missed the point entirely and compared to something completely unrelated. A swing and a miss.
Finally im free, they suspend me. Nice.
Tbh, as someone who work as marketing team in company I want to give suggest, atleast if you want to give something “different” discount pack for every Anniversary atleast you need to inform “what will be discount or not” so the player can decided where the money will go, on GE, or pack. So the player and company got win win solution instead make the player raged. Current anniversary strategy only work if the sale always happen in every single month (so you can give different discount for every single pack). But if you do like what happen right now, you make the player to wait another anniversary. And im pretty sure someone will said “there will be another christmas sale next month”, okay… last year you can only got 50% discount if you buy 2 pack. This is might not be good answer since the player need to throw some money again because they are already spent several their GJN for GE Vehicle on Gaijin anniversary sale.
Same here.
Wanted the Tram Intruder, very dissappointed by the lack of a Discount, did not buy anything from the Store. Bad move Gaijin.
As a player that actively spades every tech tree, your earlier asserstions of “not copy-paste” is quite ridiculous. Certainly, models of vehicles can vary from vehicle to vehicle, but this doesn’t make them unique to gameplay. People care about how these vehicles play, so for all intents and purposes “Copy/paste” refers to vehicles that play almost exactly the same as a similar or same model. You can’t convince me the two Ito90s are unique from each other, same with the BTR-80s (bar the visual model, the Hungarian one looks great). Heck, let’s use a recent example with the M109s. They all will be played the same, the lack of the .50cal on the German one made neglible difference in play vs the Italian one. Playing the same vehicle with a different skin is not fun, it’s tedious. I doubt any player looking for variety would even consider Israel. It’s a line of the same tanks with either minor or niche changes that do little to change the user experience. Funny enough, China is the best of both worlds for new players. It has much variety. For old players, they may loath having to respade the same vehicles again.
Ultimately, there needs to be better incentive for players to use nations they haven’t touched yet. This sale will do nothing to help, it’s a glorified bargain bin this year.
As good and have big company we should give image “good company” instead “greedy company”. (I hope they wont suspend me again cuz this)
Unique for gameplay doesn’t mean they’re copy-paste or not.
Copy-paste refers to their models, loadouts, and one other physical factor.
Just cause T-34 and M4 are essentially identical for gameplay doesn’t mean they’re copy-paste.
Another example: Type 99A & Leclerc.
The 7 tech trees people barely touch are all good. Sweden’s better than the Soviets.
Oh there are centainly plenty of those too. For what people actually care about though, copy/paste is usually used as I described earlier. You can argue semantics as much as you want, this game has a lot what can be considered “copy/paste”, especially within the last two years. There have been instances where character models have been ported over from one nation to the other, I believe the Chinese M10 suffered this problem before. Having different camouflages doesnl not make them different from another nation’s version. Even slight tweaks to the model. The F-4 Phantoms also have an interesting copy/paste detail where the crew cheif is the same on every single version, “SSgt Landing”. Point of the matter is there is both the same vehicle ported over and reskinned and remodeled vehicles that perform exactly the same as another version.
Semantics would be claiming copy-paste involves playstyles rather than the literal definition.
Just cause you started semantics doesn’t mean others are playing semantics.
If they are the same vehicle, they are also played the same way. There are plenty of them. I used both definitions, the proper one (reskins) and the loosely based one (remodels/similar vehicles). And there are plenty of examples of both cases.
We agree that same-models are copy-paste.
Why can’t we just leave it at that?
T-72M1 for Finland was an entirely new model for hull & turret for example.
It’s as different from T-72A as M1A2 SEP is from M1 Abrams.
The model is different, but gameplay wise I could play one of those and I would experience nothing new with the other ones. Same for the German T-72M1, there will be no difference in how it is played from the Finnish version.
There are obvious differences with these vehicles outside of models, this is not a good comparision.
I should redirect us back to the issue of what you stated earlier.
This sale isn’t to give incentive to grind other less played nations. This sale is a bargain bin for items not bought much. If they wanted to bring an incentive they wouldn’t be trying to backtrack on the national bonuses from the roadmap.
