Excuse me, but what you ask for is impossible. If the Kfir goes on sale, you, me, my dog and everyone else will buy it. Then it will be impossible to have a unique experience, because we all use it.
If you look here you see the oppinions of currently ~300 users, not all of these share your view.
If you look ingame, you see 150.000 people, and if you go at the right BRs, you see swarms of sales vehicles. Any statistical inference from this thread is utterly meaningless, as the people who enjoy this sale are currently ingame by the thousands.
Now you have proven that it hurts your ass that someone can buy something you can’t afford and you blame the whole world for it, it’s always like that, people buy a lot of machines on sale, for the first two weeks you only see premium machines and then everything goes back to normal but you can’t understand it. If there were promotions now for top machines, you would want to buy them yourself and you wouldn’t say a single bad word about the promotion, hypocrite.
what kind of comparison is this? Do you think that if people don’t like the sale, I won’t play the game? Are you okay ? Show me a chart of the 300 people you counted in this post because so far, bad opinions about the sale can be seen on YouTube, Steam, Tiktok, Reddit and here, do you think that all players only express their opinions here? Go to the store and buy some Vaseline because you’ll run out soon. Before the sale appeared on the store page, the game could see 240k players, so if I’m thinking like you, 90k stopped playing after they saw what was on sale
I am saying that their is a high demand for certain vehicles and people are still paying $70 for these vehicles. Lets do the math… Example - If the demand is 100 units sold everyday at $70 for 1 popular vehicle that equates to $7000 in sales. However, if they discount the vehicle to half at $35 then 200 units are sold for the same price of 100 at $7000. This means that 200 more consumers now have access to a vehicle that they really wanted badly. Here is the problem. Gaijin just sold 200 units for the same price and as a negative side affect of doing this, one of their most popular vehicles just lost a significant amount of demand. So, not only did they lose money on the sale, they also created a supply issue increasing affordability for the consumer thus decreasing the demand and furthermore profits in the long run. If Gaijin held out and didnt put the item on sale, they would have continued to make money, keep the demand and possibly force more consumers like yourself to buy the vehicle at full price from the idea that you wont get the vehicle on sale anyway and as a result you get impatient and buy it reluctantly because you really really want to play the popular vehicles. A lot of things go into play here including supply, demand, and phycology but the end result still remains. Higher profits for a vehicle many people desperately want to play. I am sure many people will actually buy it now that they know it wont be on sale for a long time. Gaijin probably anticipated the demand for the vehicle and assumes the consumer will purchase it now that they know its not going on sale.
If 90k stopped, its probably because they are upset. This will come back in a month or when they find the urge to play the game again. Additionally, many people typically revisit Warthunder once a year for the sale just to take advantage of the sale and then come back periodically throughout the following year to play here and their. I do the same thing!
Your logic is flawed and relies on the assumption that the people at those BR brackets are playing those vehicles, when it is just as much likely that other people are attempting to farm low skill players that may have bought those vehicles. Your entire argument here is an assumption based on information that you do not have access to. It may also just be that those BR brackets are, surprise surprise, POPULAR. Unless you have a graph charting BR popularity over time, you can’t prove that.
there were also 40 packages. The fact that there were those that suited your taste does not mean that everyone was satisfied, everyone looks according to their own needs. The fact that this time they didn’t get what “you wanted” doesn’t mean that everyone is disappointed. I’m slowly adding to my collection
well maybe there is a reason why there is such a shitstorm on every social media right now and of course on steam … its not only me that didnt get what he want its a very big part of the warthunder community that is understandable upset about
Do you think there could be any difference to last year (anything) that could explain the reaction?
Like i dont know maybe that they purpously excluded some packs.
thats not what i said, i said it doesnt matter the variant they chose for discount, its about the rule that the only packs excluded were the ones not older than 2 updates, stop reading what you want from what i write.
I just went in an air battle as US 9.7 to find out. Let us see what is on the menu:
15 other players in my team.
4x SU-25k (sale)
4x AV8A (sale)
I checked the stats, they all had only double digit mission numbers.
next match:
9x AV-8A (sale)
Well… maybe some people actually bought something in the sale?
