Gaijin needs to realize the impact of creating a tradition, such as the yearly birthday sale. We have high expectations and people wait months for this sale. Deviating from this tradition is like a stab in the back.

IIRC the birthday sale had always all pack vehicles discounted except vehicles added 2 patches ago. Blaming players for thinking that it is like in the last years is stupid.
This sale now is totally random. There are vehicles in sale which were added in the last 2 patches but vehicles like the eugen, turms etc. are not? These are years old

It would still be appreciated to have a better explanation than what you gave us earlier. It just wasn’t a sufficient answer to explain why none of the demanded packs are on sale. All you’re doing is alienating your customers more than you already have.

With all due respect, but this answer is not the true. IF you had read the comments, then you had read, that we want the same good sales like EVERY YEAR. What is this fake with unique sales?
You have lost much trust of your player base, and I hope you will see this on the sales figures.

Is there a way to trade 30 days of Mobile Premium to 30 days of actually good APFSDS for Type16?
And yet, there are plenty of disappointed and plenty of surprised players, because some games on steam are not on big sale (because, for example, they were 2 weeks earlier, on some different thematic sale), and some are drop on sale earlier than usual.
Right now many of you here are upset and I understand it, but expecting from me (company) to tell you info what will be on next sale is a bit too much. Such things are not practiced anywhere in the world (afaik, but of course maybe somewhere there are such things).

The tricky thing is that, unlike other companies, when it comes to the anniversary sale Gaijin has been remarkably consistent over many many years with how it works. All the packs go on sale except the past two updates. Its a good system that has worked really well to date.
It is obviously completely Gaijin’s prerogative to change the way the sale calendar works, but please don’t try to suggest that this does not represent a change in policy. Its a big change, for better or worse, and I think what we’d appreciate as a community is an acknowledgement that the previous policy on anniversary pack sales has been changed as a business decision by Gaijin and going forwards what is included in any given sale will be determined sale by sale.

I can say with 100% confidence when there will be an stash sale in Path of Exile.
Leaving summer sale aside, in every anniversary sale the most antecipated packs are there, one way or another. 11 years of this. So yeah, we were expecting the same thing again.
I’m sure there is a reason, or reasons, and i’m positive that ‘variety’ isnt one of them.

@Stona_WT I bought neither a golden eagle nor a premium day on the first day of the promotion. I saved my money only for package discounts, but none of the vehicles I chose received a discount. Now tell me, I did not benefit from the first discounts or package discounts. What is the explanation for this?

Perhaps, but doing the exact same sale every year since the beginning of War Thunder and then suddenly changing with the only explanation being “it’s to put flavor in the sale” is a sure way to make the players angry, when there was nothing indicating a change of plans and no communication to tell us to expect something different, and if you did not realize this then someone needs to have a serious chat with your marketing and communications teams.

Life is getting more and more expensive. Rent, cost of living and energy costs - many people have no money and are waiting to buy pixel tanks and planes on sale. This is completely justified. Stop being a jerk and calling people greedy who already have it hard enough. ALL CLEAR?

It is practiced, almost like a tradition, to have sales every anniversary by War Thunder, where everybody could have what they want instead of being forced to wait for another sale.
Just wait for longer for another sale? Most of us have a life, me for example, my semester is just ending and I only get a break once a year as it’s literally the hardest engineering discipline offered and this year, I have to start an internship at the end of this month, so I only have 2 weeks to play, and I decided to buy the M1 KVT so I could start grinding the US tech tree, but since you did what you did, I won’t be able to do this until next year.
I see this as pure greed on your side because you know some people will not be patient and end up buying the packs for full price, and if that does not work, you would get rid of discounts on popular premium vehicles all together for future sales so no one can have it unless they pay full price. And these premium vehicles are just pixels, you are not physically losing anything if they were being sold at a discount. In fact, you doing this will lead to less profits as spending $60 on pixel vehicles is outrageous so the majority of the population would never spend money unless they see a discount.
