It amazes me that people complain on what a company selects as discount, this is quite dumb.

This is not what the anniversary sale has been traditionally, it has always been “everything in the store minus things added in the last 2 updates”.
People plan out their purchases based on the expectation that the sale will be the same as last year and that had held true until someone decided this one would exclude all the vehicles people actually wanted and planned on getting in what I can only assume was hopes that they’d buy them at full price anyway.
I sincerely hope yall will revert back to the classic anniversary sale instead because doing something this scummy before even finishing up the roadmap changes doesn’t look good.

The reasoning baffles me a little, surely they would sell far greater numbers of vehicles at 50% off than they would at full price. It would mean they’d have to sell 2 to make up the sale of 1 but far more people would be willing to buy at 50% off.
Now the case may be that they sell enough of the more popular ones so feel a sale isn’t needed to boost their earnings but then comes the moral dilemma of money before client base. That’s a slippery slope. Yes they are a company and yes they are here to earn money end of, but if your customers aren’t happy / looked after it’s not a sustainable business model in the long run.
The one time of year they could give a little to us and most likely profit from it at the same time……yet here we are

The whole point about having some forward knowledge about sales (as easily and reliably found via reddit to date) is actually being able to plan when to spend money here. Without being able to plan I have to now assume things that I want won’t be on sale. Because I can’t afford to buy packs at full price that means I have to assume I now can’t get those packs and so might as well spend my money somewhere else. Its always a choice.

You just answered the single one point i got wrong, granted there were only 40 packs available, however last years anniversary the more liked packs got a discount. Hear what the community has to say. In my previous comment the focus shouldnt have been for the number of available pack with discounts, but on the fact that the most liked ones arent today.
So at least announce it in advance or provide some standard for which vehicles will be discounted. Most people plan and wait for months for the discounts, only to find out in the end that none of the vehicles they wanted to buy are on sale. Sometimes they choose not to buy a premium account or Golden Eagles in the first part of the promotion to wait for the vehicle package discounts in the second part of the promotion and end up not spending anything during the discounts.

Its disappointing, to say the least. In the name of ‘variety’ gaijin decided to decided not to give discounts on the best selling most anticipated vehicles on one of the biggest sales. This makes no sense at all.

The problem is some people bought vehicles for GE to play them together with pack vehicles which now aren’t on sale! I bought the karlsruhe to play together with the prinz eugen which now is not on sale

honestly, for the guy to come and say that the promotion is like this, to always have different promotions, it would be better to keep quiet…
Do you know that everyone has high expectations for this promotion, which is basically the most anticipated of the year, and even though you know this, you leave out the vehicles that everyone is waiting for? honestly gaijin, that was like “well we read your comments but we don’t care, happy shopping!”

Lmao, oh well, at least it kind of makes it easier to choose where to spend my LOSAT money.
I’m still undecided for which nation to buy though. My plan so far is to buy one one vehicle pack and then 1 starter pack to make researching rank 3 vehicles a bit easier. (Choice from Swedish / Chinese / Italian/ French)
As for packs, currently thinking about T-55 the most, but there’s also CV or maybe even type 96A. thoughts? which of them are the best tanks with good White lions bonuses?

Well yes, some of the pack that were available last year, are not available now.
Please do not expect from me to tell you when they will be on sale again, I as a CM do not know this.
If you think a bit on what you are expecting from me (tell you, when you will be able to purchase specific thing on sale), you will notice that well, this is not how things works (anywhere?).
At least I did not face situation, where specific company is announcing that specific product will goes on sale in, dunno, 20 weeks.

Many people waited for a whole long month for this moment and you telling me different sales was a thing???
If you read our comments then show us a reaction from your side and give your playerbase what they want to have!
You should listen to your playerbase, dont make them angry… they pay money, to keep the game alive. That you have money at the beginning of every month.
Its not for me logical to put a Rank 7 Mirage F1C-200 in a sale and keep for example the Rank 7 MiG-23ML out of the BIRTHDAY sale. Why? It makes no sense for me.
I´m just disappointed. I waited till the Birthday Sale to get the MiG-23 and Kfir…always supported you even in bad times. This sale feels so wrong right now.
