You dared to spitball the idea of the tree with the most captured ww2 stuff having its stuff appear as captured vehicles in other trees.
Ok and?
This isn’t proof that the US needs these vehicles
Cry all you want, the US doesn’t need captured vehicles
The tree has more than enough stuff for pretty much any br already and adding more C&P “just because” doesn’t help the game
Could definitely use these though

The only thing gaijin seems to pay attention to is low tier US ground, for anything 8.0 and above it has to go to another TT first before the US gets it.
C&P doesn’t help the game in anyway, this a can of worms gaijin started when they added China to the game. Im only stating that if its going to be fair for other TT to get US vehicles they never used or upgraded it should go around. Weather its lend lease or not, not my problem some nations dont have equipment. Finland is a great example of having plenty of finish designs yet non of them are in the TT. Its clear to anybody with a brain, the US TT is only in game to flesh out smaller Tech Trees so that way people grind those smaller nations using C&P premiums. This is how they make there money.
Germany has this issue as well where other nations get better versions of German tanks. Not because Germany didn’t upgrade but simply because if Germany had the best leopards or boxers nobody would play Sweden top tier. So they hinder Germany by giving them slightly older or less armored versions to keep the premium slop flowing.
M829A3
First shell in the game with anti-era implemented
M1A2 SEP trophy
SEP V3
F-18E
F-15C GE
AIM-120D with GNSS
Gaijjn’s priority is top tier (mainly air)
I suggest paying attention to the past updates
I feel like your viewpoint is incredibly biased and skewed
Huh
No, I refuse to take you seriously after you just said that.
Lmfao
Wow surely the Americans should get PURE SLOP into their tree when it’s not needed and takes away uniqueness from Germany.
Go find actually unique American vehicles
if it modify sure!
What the americans in the case rarely did.
I don’t know why so many people are against something that saves them time and effort - with captured/lend lease vehicles, you don’t have to grind an entire other tree.
If you guys are happy with grinding more, so be it. But a unique vehicle for one tree can be a unique vehicle for others.
The lines of “belonging” with respect to a vehicles tech tree options is fuzzy for most vehicles ever used operationally. Things are captured, purchased, and lend leased all the time. If there is a single instance of it happening, then I dont think there’s anything wrong with a captured vehicle going to another tech tree.
If this is a vehicle simulator then why should I be restricted from simulating the operation of a tank for a foreign nation, if it happened in real life?
So what’s the point in the other trees.
Here let me lay out something. Germany could get almost every Sherman every t34. Alot of churchills. And British tanks in general. The m3 lees. The Stuarts. The is1 the is2. All Italian and French tanks. The m10s. The m36s. M18s. All the kv1s. Basically all the SU series. The m8s. And many others so why would you play the USA or GB or Italy or USSR or France when Germany would have all of their tanks.
Gaijin could add all of these vehicles to the tech tree but that would be a pretty dumb decision since it would fill the tree with bloat and people wouldn’t play it because of that. Which would lower Gaijin profits.
War Thunder is a market and we are the consumers. If supply (amount of vehicles Gaijin can afford to add) exceeds demand (amount that people want to research), Gaijin will be incentivized to lower RP costs of vehicles as a whole, folder more vehicles, or stop adding captured vehicles to achieve equilibrium.
We already saw this a few years ago when Gaijin made folderend vehicles cost half as much research. They didn’t do it out of the kindness of their hearts, but because they knew they had to find a way to 1) Appease the players, since demand was extremely low due to dissatisfaction with other changes, and 2) Reduce the total amount of RP required to research all of a tech tress vehicles.
Assuming the actual RP amount lowered stayed the same whether foldered vehicles were made to cost less, or all vehicles across the tree were lowered by an even amount, players would see their RP savings reflected much earlier on in the tech tree, which would allow them to grind more vehicles at lower BRs and thus flesh out their lineups. Essentially, a net positive for game health.
I support adding captured vehicles because we won’t have unique TT additions forever, they can fill up lineups, and they won’t cause bloat to tech trees, assuming Gaijin acts as incentivized (and if they don’t, we can stop playing).
A King Tiger for example existing in the American tree won’t stop the King Tiger from existing for Germany. It will just mean you have to fight King Tigers more often as Germany. And as I said, Gaijin isn’t going to port entire tech trees into each other. Vehicles will be added piecemeal, as they always have been, where they are needed/fun, whether as TT, premium, or event.
These vehicles can also take up spots of premium or event vehicles that could and should be in the tech tree because ether actually are unique. The Object 279, IS-7, BMD-4, M6A2E1, and many more are example of vehicles that should have been TT.
While true, many nations have dozens upon dozens (barring Swedish air but we also got Finland and Norway to help) of additions that are still feasible.
I don’t believe captured copy paste is very healthy but I can understand purchased and operated copy paste.
*When it is needed
The people here are asking for copy and paste for a nation that literally doesn’t need anything new
Best part is, they’re complaining about copy-paste existing while doing so
I am not against the idea of these vehicles. However, it should be a rare-event vehicle. To limit its appearance from becoming common.
There it is, the picture I was wondering. I remember seeing one with that specificwith a half track. Can’t seem to find it, though.
Yeah, they could cause they were the ones who got the vehicle moving under its own power. Germany never could. It also managed to get through trials by fire, etc. However, this occurred post-war by a few hours.
So that’s the only reason why it isn’t.
I’m guessing it’s the case of lashing out (also seeing a lack of complaints about soviet and British equipment cropping up in most others trees (barring the odd one here and there))
ew no -100

this ruin the point of playing each nation why would i play germany to get tiger II? or USSR for IS-2 ?? it’s not fun to face same tank type and makes me don’t want to grind other nations even stop war thunder because the main point for me personal opinion to play war thunder was WWII and historical battles and it’s already half ruined by cold wars tanks and now imagine captured tanks top of that ewww please no 😭
only +1 when snail added historical battles without captured tanks.
This would be WWII fans if captured tanks take over WWII in war thunder:
