War Thunder "Ninth Wave" - Changelog

Every since the update I have this bug in Air RB where player tags turn dark when they go further than 10km. Is it a setting that I missed or something?

Armor on the British Crusader tanks didn’t get fixed again :(

Per chance do you think the grille 15 could potentially be in the game. Even though it was never produced and only remained in blueprints. I would like to see it in the game and am very curious on how it would look and play in game

@Smin1080p_WT could you maybe clarify whats Happening here?
Why is the Shrapnel pattern perfect the plane siloutte?
(Its the Hypersonic Missile of the new Pantsir)

becasue it only renders the sharpnel that hits the plane

Its showing you the hits. Obviously things outside of the shape of the plane were not a hit.

Modern Russia invention, aim+wh+bunnyhop shrapnel

Sorry, but you can. There are vehicles that had free traverse turrets you could have easily found examples for and made an actual educated guess. Instead you used fake placeholder values and you specifically chose the highest ones.

I don’t care if it’s a buff or a nerf. I want it to be realistic.

Then there’s the fact you proposed all of these vehicles to have the same traverse regardless of weight, circumference, balance (weight distribution), etc.

At 8:46 he traverses the turret externally 90 degrees in 5 seconds, so 20 seconds for a full 360. Which would be 18 degrees a second.

At 14:18 he traverses the turret internally 90 degrees in 4 seconds, so 16 seconds for a full 360. Which would be 22.5 degrees a second.

An FT-17 turret ring is about 24 inches, with a weight of about half a ton. While a Panzer 35t/38t is about 48 inches, I couldn’t find an exact weight on the 35t/38t turret but it’d likely be around 1.5-2 tons.

Just using uniform circular motion with the best speed, so 16 seconds for a 24 inch diameter circle, it’d take 32 seconds for a 48 inch circle for a full 360. Which works out to 11.25 degrees a second. So slower than the previous geared speed.

If you want to be charitable and say a trained gunner under adrenaline, lets say 90 degrees in 3 seconds for the best example above, 12 seconds for 360. That’s 30 degrees per second for the FT. Using uniform circular motion again that’s 24 seconds for a full rotation or 15 degrees a second for the 35t/38t. Reminder, this is purely speed. I haven’t taken weight or resistance, or any other factors, into consideration.

Doing that quite literally gives you a rough figure.

fair guess from them. How on earth can a single normal human drag a turret much faster? theres no basket so themselves and the rest of the turret crew need to also shuffle around in the tank so a sustained turn would be in lumps, averaging it out to around 15 degrees was more than fair for a guess until someone proves it in person.

are you actually trying to compare an m2 browning that weighs 20kg to a turret that weighs 50x that at minimum? thats before we even take resistance from a turret ring into account.

uhhm, so remember when PoBIT had the broken countermeasures on dev for a short bit?

yeah, that’s been present on the norwegian mlu for a while:(

@Jarms Does he do with full force? Is the turret in prestine considition? Do i care anymore? Was my approximation with the M2A4 Light tank in mind which has 20°/sec in game a bit overestimated and by that a bit high? Maybe.

Obviously not.

OMG!!! What have they done to this game on this update!!!

Can you see me in the replay! NOPE!!! Im sitting in the corner directly infront.!!

IS THAT WHY tanks passed me by unnoticing me, how other players clocked up 13 kills in a matter of 4 minutes in game!!! Invisible tanks now!

NOT TO MENTION I shoot - kill, they shoot back AFTER THEY ARE DEAD!"

Server replays are broken, but client replays are unaffected. It’s a replay issue, not a match issue

Why did you break the contact display system in airborne RBs? Now, even with the highest-ranking crews and experts, enemy contacts don’t show up even if they’re three kilometers away. Why do players waste time and money leveling up their crew skills?

Why are these guys here in the same fight with the phantoms??? And for BOTH teams!!! Why do I have to play the same map for the fifth time in a row???

Hmmm that must be why a player in the same match went completely unnoticed for most of the match.

how bizarre!

My question is why are yall making eco changes but not putting anything about them in the change log???

That happens sometimes. And often the changes are listed in future patch notes. I would say feel free to post changes that you see if they are not already listed in the recent/current patch notes.

WT players can be incredibly unaware.
