War Thunder "Ninth Wave" - Changelog

Sure love it when a 155mm one-shotter can reload faster then most medium tanks at its BR.

Should this capability be limited to AESA? PESA can’t multiple beams.

Personally I think that unlocking the turret traverse and moving the turret by hand doesn’t make a whole lot of sense, since you’re not going to move the turret that way while the vehicle is on the move or when the vehicle is at a slope.

It also requires an extra step to aim the gun, since aiming the gun requires the use of the handwheel.

The only time it comes into play is for a stationay vehicle, that quickly needs to turn the turret,.
Or maybe just as a convenice for not having to hand crank the turret 180°.

For combat conditions I don’t really see any point for this system to be implemented into WT.

I like how the camo net not only covers all the view ports on the sides and for both drivers but also how it covers the gun optic as well.

How it should like from gunner and driver view:

i dont like what they did with the stat cards. now the details i need are harder to get to i.e. armour penetration, protection (just says something like steel armour) etc.

I have to say I am not a big fan of the increased internal module modelling, especially the turret baskets, but just in general. While I understand the desire to bring a touch more realism to the game, it at certain point its just not fun to see half or all of your vehicles functionalty just stop from even something like glancing shot. If this modelling came with some form of a reduction in repair times, to balance out the increased number of components, then I don’t think it would feel as frustrating or just flat out not fun.

And even though Gaijin or Smin can come on here and say this…

…is the actual module and not what we see in the x-ray of the vehicle, I simply don’t trust them because why would you bother to model the full basket if you are just modelling the floor and the horizontal ring? Why spend the effort. This is probably the main reason I personally have scaled back my time in the game. I get the the intent of it but it just doesn’t add to the fun of the game when someone hits the tail end of your engine bay and it takes out your turret ring as well.

I feel that the new statcard is such a step backwards in regards to being able to quickly get some information about a vehicle.
While it is nice to be able to see the different types of ammo available as one of the new features, the removal of the armour thickness on tanks for the “look in the Protection Analysis” instead, makes the armour section useless when you are in battle, which is where you most likely would have liked to know an general idea of your tanks armour.

On the dev server section of the forum, there was created a thread about the statcard changes. Where we pointed out some of the issues, and suggestions on how the statcard could have been improved for the better. However it doesn’t look like that have been looked at.
