So, when a small 30mm (in reality, even smaller) core of a sub-caliber projectile hits an ammunition rack, it explodes, but when a full-size chamber projectile flies into the same ammunition rack (but protected by a thin sheet of steel), then the fuse is supposedly not armed?
The metal isnt thick enough to set the fuze off, smaller munitions are easier to set off due to the fact of the rounds being smaller and more susceptible to going off thx to the material for the 30mm being thinner.

The 75mm rounds were made for more pen so of course there going to take more armor to go off.
Let’s compare who has more?)
P.S.
I wrote about discarding sabot (APDS) shells. They don’t contain explosives, but according to the designers’ logic, their fragments don’t cause a fire (as they should), but rather a full-blown detonation (as they shouldn’t).
I wonder why there’s always someone who’ll justify every mistake the designers made?
I have a question for the developer: why is it sometimes impossible to launch a missile because when you press the launch key, the missile’s homing head takes a long time to respond and doesn’t respond to the launch command?
And what have you done with the contact display system at the top ranks? In some cases, an enemy aircraft three kilometers away from the player isn’t displayed on the minimap or in the game itself, and you only learn about it after the fact, after they’ve fired a missile at you and you’ve gone to the hangar?
Depends on the sabot, DU sabot is good at catching things on fire due to the fact the DU is pyrophoric once it impacts and enters the atmosphere of the tank. It reacts with oxygen and burns everything down to the atom. Hints why its so efficient at lighting ammo and fuel, because micro grams of DU cover every thing inside the vehicle, including the crew and their lungs while deep frying them extra crispy.
Once again. There’s a huge difference between combustion (fire) and explosion (detonation). What it fries and how pyrophoric it is makes no difference, especially when we’re talking about shells with tungsten carbide cores. And we’re talking about a 30mm caliber, a standard discarding sabot shell, not a fin-stabilized subcaliber shell; the mechanics of how it works on armor plates are also different.
But the original question was: why is a single 30mm blast enough to blow up a shell like the King Tiger, while a full-size blank isn’t enough to blow up a shell no smaller than the B-Can?
This is just an incredible game, right?
Where else will you see a bomb kill smoke? And an aluminum armored personnel carrier, which can hold a maximum of 0.5 caliber rounds in the side, survive a hit from a full-size APHE round that completely engulfs a regular radiator?
@Smin1080p_WT is it intended that the Anime 2A4M still has Static ones or should it be reported?

Best to report it yes.
Thanks for the Answer, report is done

Also, do you know if thats also Intended or a opsie, because apparently a Quality Preset is gone from the PS5 Pro while its nowhere written that it got removed

Is there some ongoing server problem with the issue tracker?
In the past hour, adding images to a report either as screenshots, historical supporting files, or drag+dropped in comments gives an error message, and the images don’t seem to parse when they finish uploading:

Have tried a couple of different browsers, logging out and back in etc. to see if it was an issue my end with the current login session, but nothing changed.
Same issue.
Hmm, the Germans didn’t know that their Tigers and Panthers would be hit with Zuni missiles from the 60s from planes from the 70s…
What kind of hyper-projectiles do the French have? They fire at such angles that everyone else would ricochet or just get stuck in the tracks, and here this thing with the subsequent annihilation of everything.

Thanks for raising that issue… The policy of showing nice graphics and animations is perhaps following the “tic-toc” mainstream but is - as this - neither helpful nor really a step forward. The “old” vehicle info-screens - like also e. g. armour thickness - allowed to get important information on one view… that’s history now.
As already mentioned here - on step forward - 500 back ;-)

that’s apbc?
French long 90mm does not care about your armour. But tbh I think it went through the part behind the tracks which is not as well armoured and believe me the 90mm is a strong gun at that BR
On the screen, you can see a HESH-sranyad hit a PzH-2000. Find a photo of the Conqueror’s side online and compare the results.
Was really hoping a submarine would show up this update.
