I was on a descending and accelerating trajectory, and the F-5 was coming from the right and above. If it had been an R-73 or a Matra-2, I wouldn’t have even complained, but what if it’s an ancient AIM-9E flying toward the sun’s glare, but it decided to ignore a whole bunch of flares? And again, it has no inertial system, no jamming immunity, and the plane doesn’t have afterburners. I think it’s a server bug—it just decided not to detect my flares.
like I said it didn’t ignore the flares it kept seeing a new brighter source and switched because you kept flaring.
Earlier aim9’s don’t have FOV shutoff so they don’t need inertial guidance the only thing you need to do is bleed its speed, outpull it or slow the flares down to slower intervals so the next ones are farther out leading to it automatically kinda bleeding speed or so the engine is out of the tight fov cone of the early aim9’s.
That is exactly why it hit you you were descending in a straight line with constant flaring meaning it kept relocking the new flares that led directly to you and never bled its speed or wobbled itself to death its okay it happens sometimes.
in simple its a stick that travels at Mach 2.5 that’s very aerodynamic unlike a su25 had a trail of brand new flares leading directly to the actual target in a straight line if it had missed it would have been a server bug once it got close it doesn’t even matter if it could visually see you the PROXY does the final bit…

Can anyone explain these miracles on the turns, not from the point of view of snail fantasy, but from a physical point of view?
If the missile launched downward while I was above it, and the missile has an infrared homing head without radio command communication with the launch vehicle during launch and flight, how did it determine that it needed to turn upward (let’s assume it doesn’t have an inertial system, but it’s supposedly using the “target above” program), then how did it manage to lock onto me the entire time, judging by this replay? Does it also have an infrared homing head on the bottom? And apparently one on the side, too?
I can’t find the folder for War Thunder because there is no “My Games” folder on my pc. I need it to acces my custom sights. How could I find it?
Isn’t there an option in the game to disable the Su-30??? I’m just fed up…
Aim9E are extremely fast inside 1km. They are very difficult to flare unless you’re pre-flaring at that range.
So, to fix the problem of players quiting after the first death because they don’t have nothing else but premium tank you gave us additional vehicle which is SPAA and tank to the linup but you ain’t gonna give us an option to disable it for the players who already has full lineup and what’s worse, these vehicles are completely stock, even no repair kits. Are you guys forget that playing in stock tank is a pain and player WILL QUIT anyway because he doesn’t have repair kits?

Okay, I’ve tried to keep an open mind and be a good sport about the naval damage changes - I’m done, they suck. I feel like I’m putting in twice as much effort for half the reward, especially if I’m not playing my Iowa and so my 6-8 inch gun cruiser that can’t penetrate BB armour - especially the Stalinium clad Russian paper ships - so I’m at most taking out a couple guys at an AA gun, if it has them, or whatever might be at a casemate gun if I can get through it - but a lot of times that or an under gunned 12 inch US BB I’m hammering at the side of something till it finally breaks and loses it’s ability to stay afloat, which the scoring is fine if no one else shoots at it so I get credit for basically all of the crew if not all of it, but if in that time - especially as it actually starts taking water and becomes ah ‘oh steal the credit’ target a bunch of guys take out 80% of the crew, I get jack. I had one where even with Iowa - I punched through the magazines, the thing for punching the citadel or whatever it’s called here pops up while the massive explosion of ammo detonation happens, ship rapidly takes on water, but a Yamato hit it shortly after, causing more flooding and getting all the credit while I got next to nothing. Matches that used to net me 3, 4, 5000 mission score, net me maybe 2000. And I’m seeing less in RP and SL too.
Also - I’m officially done with this new aiming system. Give me an option to use the old one cause I am freaking tired of this BS not letting me hit maneuvering targets, especially smaller ones. Getting sunk 3 times by a Shimakaze - and twice by the same torpedo salvo cause I got hit right as I spawned after being hit and sunk in 5 minutes is bad enough, the fact the last 2 are because I’m trying to even lead these damn guns in to his turns and they still fire the way he was going before is down right infuriating. I don’t care that I’ll have to re-learn how I was nailing things in the old system before you changed it with no issue other than yeah, losing them in the scope at range if fast targets, but I am sick and tired of anything maneuverable being a damn problem half the time unless it’s at close range.
