So what’s with secondary weaponry ammo racking the Sebastopol from 13km away. Like 5inch HE shells are ammo racking me on spawn…without me catching on fire and then burning into my ammo rack.
I went back and grabbed the replay. The sheer amount of AAA that is just missing is kinda crazy. Im all for AAA having more errors and aircraft being usable in NRB. But there is usable and then there is “I can just ignore AAA because it wont hit me” and this is with aced crew. HE-TF is also completely worthless (if that is what the 4.7" guns on the Rodney are firing.
Suffice to say. The sooner I get into Vanguard and unlock her HE-VT shells the better
They don’t want to see it either. So many items still need to be fixed. This is just like the new player profile card. No one asked for the previous profile to be changed and from what I’ve read, not many, at least on the forums, likes that change either.

I mean, that doesn’t look terrible? The plane was killed when it got to 2500m away and directly overhead. At 3000-4000m slant it was immune. That’s better than most human AA players in ground games can do.
And IRL TF was only good for barrage fire anyway, which this game can’t really do.
The only way we’re going to make RB interesting again (and naval generally) is if planes have their place again. Making the player switch to fire their own AA guns once in a while to hit targets that aren’t actually diving directly at you isn’t THAT bad, really.
What has changed in the Version 2.47.0.17 ? it’s the current live version but can’t find anywhere what they fixed or changed.
EDIT: Air to Air rockets are still Bugged as of 2.47.0.17 ofc…
But I think it was killed by the fighter, not the AAA.
and the issue is, If I have to switch to my AAA and figure out lead and stuff all whilst defending against a BB firing at me and maybe a destroyer flanking me, it would just be impossible. I cannot do the job of 1000 people at once.
Some automation is needed or failing that, every single British BB needs its missing Anti air radar
I get that but a WW2 ship game without some form of viable airplane counterplay wasn’t meaningful or satisfying for a lot of people either. Naval participation’s been plummeting hard since the start of the year in both naval modes, so something clearly had to change in the basic gameplay here. It couldn’t really get any easier and simpler, so it had to get a little harder and complex. Dumbing it down again by dropping the planes back out would not seem wise here (not that you’re saying that exactly, I know).
Im just saying. I think they’ve gone too far the other way.
Now the meta strat might be to just get into a bomber. Especially if you are germany and have GBUs
To be fair, historically this was pretty much the play if you had bombers nearby.
(Not saying it should be the case in game, but it’s not as out there as appears to be being suggested)
Side note, anyone know if ASMs (Kormoran etc) interact with the hull sections mechanic?
I dont think bot naval ships have the updated damage models

The new destruction card showing your enemy stats ‘FECKING SUCKS’. Is there an option to turn it off. Complete ass.
