The only premium crew I have after all my hundreds of hours is my Bf 109 F-4. I’ve no idea how I got it. I got it after flying in a TSS event so maybe that.
I play air sim, and I play fighters. I play to dogfight people in air simulator battles and to support my teammates doing their objectives. Occasionally I strafe A.I ground targets.
I also play to dogfight people in TSS tournaments and custom 1 vs 1s.
Get coupons, sold them, buy GE, ace the crews.
Why not to try Aces of Thunder? No need to spade crews, oly once you pay the game, its cheaper than a premium pack in WT.
I am literally the person with a maxed ace bf 109 f-4. I am the one given the means. New players I encounter are given massive handicaps that makes even practicing hard for them because they literally cannot physically copy my inputs without flying in a straight line with their screen blacked out.
Crew skills are egregious and the module system is almost as bad.
Can technically argue that neither are pay to win if you’re arguing semantics but even then it is still pay to not be at a disadvantage.
ARB is probably worse than GRB for module gimping, especially at top tier. Will never change anyway as it is designed to frustrate you into spending money.
I do think crew skill difference from a level 1 crewslot ot max level needs to be smaller. as do expert and ace crew skills. I think its fine to be there, ace crew is a sign af mastery for the vehicle when not paid for but its competitive edge is a bit far extreme vs newbies
